91 to 93 were the best years of Michael, he was just in another level. No one could stop him at his prime
@MsAchilles2311 жыл бұрын
96 was also his best
@Nikochan131311 жыл бұрын
Geralden Jordan But his type of game changed he got more muscular and less dinamic . He was more a post played than before, and for that you need a bigger body. Even himself said that he could not be able to do what he used to but he could be more concerned about the team instead. In words of Joe Dumars. Before his retirement in 93 Jordan was the best athlete ever to play this game and after he cameback he became the best basketball player ever. His scoring number sais it all before and after 93

michael sk YOU are wrong... MJ was at his best from 88 to 93. he just so happened to run into a legendary bad boys team in those early years of his domination
@peacefulmind14098 жыл бұрын
+massdagod To be precise his prime started from 89 to 93, this period was physically stronger than 87 and 88.

jjutube07... Michael actually says, to Patrick Ewing, after that hard foul "Don't you ever do that to me again" Michael said in an interview years after that, that Patrick was one of his best friends but "he was ready to go blows with him." Greatness of Jordan. I grew up Chicago and I miss his playing days. MJ Forever!!

6:52 - Michael Jordan the only person I've seen that was strong in the air. Loved this rivalry. It was respectable contest between two great teams.

Yeah no rivalries like this anymore in basketball. My have all time favorite play is when Jordan went up for the lay up got it and the could and 2 Knick players fell down Jordan yelled "That's right SIT DOWN". Cant do that anymore. That is old school street ball I love it. Back in the days is how you play ball with intense and passion.

Can anybody make out what he said to Xavier McDaniel at around 6:50?
@danielmatos253310 жыл бұрын
"Yeah you sucker yeah!". Not sure to who he was saying this though, since McDaniel faulted him simply because he knew Ewing would get posterized and that would be such huge momentum changer. MJ however, made sure they knew he was well aware that he was about to put Ewing in a poster.

Jordan was ENRAGED at the end of this game. At 8:15 he completely blows off Ahmad Rashad's attempt at a post-game interview. Then at 8:33 he walks right past some suited guy who was attempting to get a pound out of him. MJ was in the zone. The RAGE zone!
@uberathlete14 жыл бұрын
@fdlmania That's a myth. Teams regularly got away with players camping in the paint and teams did play zones or versions of it. The defensive 3 second rule today renders zones pretty useless. Add to that the no hand checking rule which gives perimeter players all the advantages, as intended by the NBA to increase scoring. With the predominance of more true centers in the league in the 90s, Lebron would also be forced to shoot more jumpers.
@rattlehead5432113 жыл бұрын

Don't be ignorant. Evolution makes things better, especially in sports. Look around you and imagine that same version 20 years ago. "Develop gradually, esp. from a simple to a more complex form."

You should get 3 points for blowing a dunk because you jump too high.
@DNY2111 жыл бұрын
of course the future is better. duh. people have more knowledge. technology is better. medicine. nutrition. etc., but the problem with this "evolution" argument is that you people think players from the past wouldn't evolve if they play today. you see how good those players were. today they would be even better. another reason this "evolution" argument makes no sense is that just because the future is better than the past doesn't mean the past was bad. you compare players relative to their era.
