Why weren't bonus buttons used in this series? If they can press their buzzers in game 2, why didn't they use them in game 1? Was it because the program didn't have a lot of money at the time? I thought in game 2 when there's a tie, they throw again and the highest gets the question worth the amount they tied with. Why was that changed?

It seems that the producers tinkered with the show's content from series to series or even within series episodes to keep it evolving no doubt influenced by correspondence from viewers stating what they liked, disliked or wanted to see included. The production crew may well have asked the various audiences what they thought of aspects of the show. As for the money question, Bullseye itself generated huge amounts of advertising revenue, it had over 10 million viewers even though at this stage it was no longer drawing 16, 17 million, so a few hundred pounds here or there an episode wouldn't have been an issue.

It's never the same throughout. Some times they can keep the money and gamble the prizes, sometimes they forfeit the money too.
@iraceruk3 жыл бұрын
@@carolineg1872 No. They kept the money in the earlier series and just gambled the prizes, then had to gamble money and prizes in later series. The latter is how it always should have been.

I really think that Jim has a lot of input of how the show is run as he seems so passionate about it. So he probably has to work with the producers to make it different every series a little.
@mattlock40352 жыл бұрын
@@iraceruk They possibly did that thinking that the winners would pass it down to the next couple, and then they could get rid of the prizes 😊

i think it's a talbot. a pile of british shit basically. although it could be a peugot. i wasn't keen on that design; it looked like a wedge on wheels. the later models were much more popular hatchbacks.
