@@jeffs6090 I always wonder how much is the tax, here in my country it's 20%, thank you for filling my curiosity 😁
@jeffs60902 жыл бұрын
@@mitawidyastuti6181 - more info, in case you wanted it.... For any game show in the US, all prizes are subjected to tax. They are to be claimed on your income tax return (due every spring for the prior year) as income. Money is obvious, but other prizes are claimed for their retail value. Take a game show like The Price Is Right, you walk out the winner and have a car, a trip, 2 jet skis, etc all worth $38k, you will then add that as income on your tax return for the year in addition to your income from your job. There's a lot of stories of how upset people are with how much they end up owing. One option every winner has is to take the cash equivalent of their prizes. That way they can figure what the tax will be and save that much back in order to pay it next spring and then have the rest to spend. We have different tax brackets here, the more you make, the higher percentage your tax is. For the $750k, that's in the highest bracket which is 37%. That also makes them pay more than what they would have for their regular income from their job. If they made $80k for the year, they're in the 22% bracket, but now they aren't with the addition of the $750k. They'll then pay an additional 15% on their $80k from what they normally would.

The concept is really flawed. What if they Don't know the answer but get it correct. It'll happen way more than 25% due to process of elimination and educated guesses. Therefore alot of the time 35%-50% the contestant will have the correct answer without knowing it. Hence you can be incorrect as a "judge" saying they were bs'ing (when they were) and they get right answer from a guess. The show should have had 6 to 8 multiple choice answers at least to minimize this phenomenon since it was so key to the show. Change that for s2.
@komfyk2 жыл бұрын
That's exactly what I was thinking. I'm like 5 episodes in and the crazy thing is so far every single person that was bullshitting never picked the correct answer. How is that statistically possible? The odds of that happening are so low. Makes me think the show is scripted.

@@2bcng but what if the answer they're lying about is actually the correct answer? There's a 25% chance they get it right by accident. Hasn't happened once in the show.
@jeffs60902 жыл бұрын
So my thought is, of the different scenarios, the one they aren't talking about is if the contestant doesn't know the answer but guesses it correctly. They had no clue but guessed it right and now has to come up with an answer as if they knew it. The other three may not know the answer either and call bs. It gets revealed that the answer was correct, but they were still bullshitting. The three judges are actually correct by calling bs.

Doesn’t matter. There are two ways to advance… either one person believes you or you get the answer correct, even if it was a wild guess.
