The flash wasn't so bad. Sort of looks like something out of a video game. But the arms were all wrong, and the attacker primed his arms when he need to kick. The instructor also wasted a good opportunity, his opponent was wide open and he should have punched him in the face, jaw, or a body shot (even a groin kick). His last kick could be substituted with a straight kick to the knee.

I just don't get these guys in the beginning. I'm pretty sure the old püerson did do some kind of ta kwen do, eskrima, kung fu, tai chi for most of his life and the other guy who is throwing himself around wheres a black belt wich usually means that he did this for around 10 years. Why are they performing very bad magic tricks? Pretty sure they can fight. I'm no expert, far from it, but I did do wing chun, tae kwen do kung fu and some phillipine martial arts for 2-3 years, just as a hobby and i can sometimes see what they're going for with their first move, but then i witness how they aren't following throu w it. WHY?

in aikido we do exercises to emphasize how mechanics work it's not supposed to be a real demonstration of self deffense if someone says those demonstrations are examples of self defense then yes that's fake .. but its more an illustration or demonstration of how your body works and to get sensitive to mechanics inside the techniques that re not really moves that WORK per say in a fight ..they are for learning techniques not techniques in themselves they demonstrate prinsipals
