Walaikum asalam. Bus ye smjh len k jb demand ki fluctuations hoti hain supply chain mai to bullwhip effect janam leta hai. Aur ye demand ki fluctuations hamesha Downstream side (means the customer or retailer) ki taraf se Upstream side (means wholesaler, distributor, manufacturer, supplier) ki taraf jati hai. Bullwhip har supply chain mai hota hai, kahen kam to kahen ziada.

Please told me that what is meant by shortage in demand. When demand is higher the bullwhip effect occurs but when demand is high but inventory level is low so what should we call this phenomenon or effect?

Hi Bullwhip is applicable in both high nd low demand. The fluctuations which you face in inventories either low or high due to fluctuations in demand can be called bullwhip effect

Ye dono same is trha se hain k bullwhip effect create hota hai in a Supply Chain due to lack of info, fluctuations in demand, errors in forecasting. Aur beer game b bullwhip ko hi represent krta hai k kaise integration na hone ki vja se supply chain effect hoti hai
