There are mentions of drugs in Bully, like when the guy behind the school asks him if he has them, and there's a line asking Jimmy if he's on drugs, it was either a prep or a bully that asks, can't remember which. There is also a task of getting prescription pills from the trash for Edna, which she used to drug the chemistry teacher with.

I would honestly love to see 2002 Pitch screenshots that was shown to the Press and Rockstar Higherups, meaning VERY early presentation prototype gameplay to show off their concept and gameplay ideas to get the company to back them up on their idea. its funny, if you look at R* games and how unique they made characters, on one end you have Max Payne/GTA where nearly all characters are no-names or just kill fodder, and then on the other end you have Bully where almost every. single. character. was named, had a personality, and a small background. even the most insignificant like the prefects. the only ones i can think of who aren't special are the police officers.

It would be cool if we could still get a bully that would still have more childish overtones. Like maybe something set back in the 50's that would include bullworth from the past and have old school preps and greaser and explain more about their rivalries as well as what the jocks and nerds would be like back then with maybe some extra cliques to replace Russel's crew. The townies being full on hillbillies could be cool as well and being inspired by old school settings from movies around the time. Like bring back the junkyard and have a mission be to bother the junkyard owner to entertain your friends or as a rite of passage. Also have a baseball field as a boss battle area against the jocks as maybe a reference to sandlot. They could also have an outsiders style rumble where the actual focus is on the carnage rather than singling out Peanut and Johnny. I feel like it could still have the same vibes as the original bully we have but also have the story maybe focus on having a single girl that you have a crush on in school to kind of recapture those days and just getting into mischief hanging out down the river. An old school kind of vibe I feel like would work well for a bully game as that's what everyone always gets from bully anyway. Maybe just have it relate to Jimmy's future story later on like we play as or meet Jimmy's grandfather and have references to all the pop culture and events at the time.

this is all opinion what im gonna say, but in the first concept art i think it suppose to be the main character that we play it, i say it becouse that kid remind me of another kid from that bully beta animation where he is the victim of the beta russell's attacks. i dont think that having a ganster or a mafia guy in the game would make it kinda dark it, there alot of kid shows in that time that have one time gansters or criminals in it, that even include to some E-Rated games that mafia people in it like the "the sims 2" for the nintendo game, the implementation wont be dark aslong the execution it done right to make it more cartoonish or comedical. looking at the religious kid it concept art it do really make me think how the game would be like if they have a faction related with religion, that could be something interesting to see. anyway, nice video! i wonder where do you get those concept art from?

dude, you are looking at this from a final game point of view. these were designed having in mind bully would be a gta in school. I think, that all of these characters, were supposed to be mission characters. like in gta sa, there's the rapper guy (og loc), the mafia guy (woo zee) and so fourth. There's porn movie directors in GTA VC but that doesn't mean it's a porn game, so the Radio Guy was probably supposed to give you missions These were drawn in 2002. 20 and fucking 02. WAY BEFORE any storyline was written. These characters are not supposed to be free roam characters. THEY ARE MISSION CHARACTERS.
