There is a stat in pedstats called stat_g_ranged_a. They're either using that for different stats in the mission, or they just gave them that fighting style for the mission (the first seems more reasonable, but it's probably both, due to the fighting style in the pedstats and the one they use conflicting; striker and ranged).

My guess is that judging by name G_Ranged. It was sort of like act the way they meant to do have more range projectile which explains why you can sometimes get hit by egg in the eggs mission or in Fighting johnny vincent where Greasers will throw stinkbomb and eggs at you at perfect accuracy. Idk how that work. but could be as It was my guess.

I might be wrong, but i think that fighting style is used in fighting Johnny Vincent as well (by the egg-throwing greasers)

I’m positive each fighting style has its own chance to spawn with certain ranged weapons, and the G_Ranged style has a 100% chance to spawn with a ranged weapon. It’s why you see characters like the greaser striker spawn with a slingshot, but not every time since they have their own chance to spawn. Even in missions such as The Rumble, Peanut’s slingshot isn’t a guaranteed spawn, so this style ensures they spawn with a ranged weapon.

My guess is Someone at Rockstar did it to make his horrible day at work shorter, by not having to Code Another fighting style for them, thus having shiet done quicker, So that he could enjoy a beer and a game Earlier that day. And they probably Lost, and he was pissed the Next day, and didnt bothered changing it True story. My uncles nephews cousin has a Buddy who know a guy who knew a guy who had a Sister who was shortly dating a guy who was working 1 day at Rockstar Leeds

The style is: G_Ranged_A My guess is that these are backup fighting styles if the main fighting style occurred an error so they use this backup fighting style.
