Was wondering how heavy of a trailer were you towing and how much of a difference did it make for towing?

Just over 14k lbs. When it was in the towing tune MPG got a bit worse, but you could definitely feel the difference. Made going up hills a little less stressful. I would say regardless of which setting I used, it didn’t help with MPG when towing. I suppose with a much lighter trailer there would be a difference.

Very minimal, but yes. About 5mpg more when not towing.

5mpg is huge, 20% is that accurate? I’m looking for mpg without a loss in performance. Did this add distance between full tanks?

@@joeylonglegs9233 I purchased one for my suburban and also noticed an increase... about 3-5mpg increase. For me that was totally worth it. Only downside is I thought you could flip settings on the fly. Like switch to towing mode etc... but the actual programing is more complex and requires removing certain fuses before changing settings. However even with the inconvenience I would say it's still worth it and in time pays for itself in gas savings.

Tried to stay at 91-93, but 87 when gas prices get a bit high. You have to change the setting depending on which one.
