Greasers and Preppies are my favorite factions because they use technique when fighting. That makes the combat much more interesting since it involves dodging, blocking, counterattacking, punching, kicking and blocking. Not just strength or shoves like the Jocks, Townies, Bullies and Nerds do. They also use their ranged weapons well.

having lots of health isn't strong? reasons why people think russell is strong: -he is muscular and hits very hard -he is very durable -he can smash his head into walls many times but can still fight perfectly after that -he is grapple immune and always does a defensive move when performed knee drop on him -he can pick up fully grown adult with 1 hand -he can survive an explosion -he can open a gate just by headbutting it

Derby can beat Johnny I had it happen yesterday in free roam (I made it so leaders can spawn and guided Derby to the autoshop and made them have a fair fight). 1v1 Derby or Johnny it can be 50 / 50. Bif is a freaking tank and the whole reason the Preps stand a chance in the first place when he is paired with Derby - those two are extremely hard to fight because of their grapple immunity and huge HP bar. Johnny has no anti grapple but his haymaker and axe kick do a lot of damage and work on characters with grapple immunity because they aren't really grapples. Which is why he can wreck people with anti grapple but loses to most grapplers. On the other hand I mostly agree, Peanut is imo next to Davis and Algie the weakest second leader - I mean he just has nothing going for him no extra HP like Damon or Bif which makes him just another melee and not really second leader. Townies have a similar problem with Omar I think if you don't put him in boss HP mode or manually give him more health he is just another normal member just like Peanut, Davis and Algie. The real weakness of the Preps are the low HP of all the members besides Derby and Bif and yes, their grapplers are a bit of a joke. Parker and Justin are quite strong melee members but Tad and Gord have too little HP even though they are good strikers. Bryce and Chad on the other hand are imo some of the weakest grapplers of any clique because they don't have a real special grapples - Greasers have Bear Hug, Jocks have two different wrestling moves and their strikers have the Knee Drop and their Lunge which is a half-grapple and does damage when you land it. Prep grapplers have the same capabilities in grappling as Greaser strikers (Lefty and Vance) or Jock melees (Casey and Bo). The only thing they have in common with other grapplers is being able to hold someone so your friends can beat his guts. Townies just beat most cliques because their three hit combo does a lot of damage. And because they have quite a bit of HP which is also the main strength of the Jocks - HP and a lot of damage in their attacks. I dunno if Townie Grapplers really have special moves (besides the Asylum bite) or maybe head butt or knee drop but I think they all can do this.

Probably because they're weak (no offense), they have only 2 attacks and they put their Knee on anybody's stomach if they're grabbed. Unless it's a Special Grab (Like Russell's Powerbomb, Norton's Bear Hug or Johnny's Haymaker).
