Miss Schipp is deaf but very verbal. Notice she uses sign language as she speaks. Somebody spent a lot of time with her at an early age to get her to such a high level of speech. Wonderful !! She has an endearing personality, so sweet. I also think she’s lower on the IQ scale. I used to teach deaf and intellectually challenged children, and I loved it !! You will never find a more loving and at times challenging group of children to be around. My heart is with them still. I’m concerned that she is in jail, and wondering who if anyone is helping her during her daily life.

Its a filler word when trying to come up with something on the spot. I learned that in speech as well, but it is more applicable during an already rehearsed presentation. Not so much when trying to present arguments right on the spot.
