@@Jonmad17 I can't speak for others but for me it's not the height itself, it's the complex that often goes with it. Of course, that's a chicken and egg situation. In this example, it all added up to me that Joe is sooooo hyper masculine in his aesthetic/habits/talking points, where a taller man might not even mention their masculinity but be just as masculine.

He doesn't present as more masculine than the average person in that subculture. But because he's 5'7", people somehow associate it with an insecurity. It's a lot like how women get called "bossy" for acting identically to the men around her. People pathologize short men's behavior because they feel like short men don't have the right to present as traditionally masculine. People pretend that they're making fun of insecurity, but unless you're Rogan's therapist, you don't actually know whether or not he's insecure about his height.
