As a woman and long time listener of JRE, from its inception, any “woman” who sees listening to JRE as a red flag is a giant flaming red flag! Nothing screams I’m a weak chick looking for a weak man who doesn’t have independent thought processes quite like that… yikes! JRE helped me really examine myself as well (it doesn’t just help men), especially much of those early days podcasts. It was a good lesson in “why does this make me feel angry or inadequate? What can I do to change myself or the way I’m thinking so this doesn’t upset me” and not take the attitude weak folks do of “this is bad, how dare they, yuck!” Grow up into real woman sad little girls in grown up bodies… it’s not the world that’s the problem, it’s you.
@christopherkucia1071 Жыл бұрын
Very true. Lots of boys in adult bodies too. It’s a symptom of a much larger both direct and indirect process that is encouraged by the elites, (plutocracy) through technology (technocracy) and economy (material, or lack of) Like, I could say we humans put ourselves in this situation, and maybe we laid the groundwork to allow for this dystopian modern existence, however I’m also positive that if these issues weren’t predetermined for this exact effect, these issues and mechanisms are NOW used malevolently and with precision pre-meditation. Thanks for being a normal and connected human that is striving to be their best. Or at least, strives to not be destructive, naive and stagnant. Our communities are the most important thing, OVER the individual. Because it is my belief we don’t actually do things for the individual, or at least it only brings you so far. Community is where the spiritual itch is scratched, for me personally as I claim to not be a particular flavor of religious. There is an attack on humanity, or at least in the way human society functions, and young women thinking listening to JRE is a red flag is a direct result of the narratives being pushed from up high for DECADES! Because these ladies actually don’t have an opinion on JRE. They are told and propagandized that he is a “red flag” and if not by design consciously, it is used to perpetuate regression consciously. And it doesn’t even matter if it was consciously intended or not, the effect would still be present. Peace and love! ❤️ ✌️ 😊

If you asked me on a survey, I would have said being a Disney Adult is a huge red flag. Well I’m married to one now, so much for a red flag survey. I think that taking real red flags like drug abuse and face tattoos and applying the concept to listening to podcasts is very unhealthy. Maybe I’m disconnected, but I don’t believe self-reporting or surveys to be useful. I think people increasingly answer questions in ways that either enforce their position, or are the “socially correct answer.”

This is so ironic because of my experience a couple weeks ago. I work with a young woman who I purchase products from for my business. We have a good casual business relationship for the last 2 years. I always have an earphone in because I listen to books/ podcasts whatever. She asked me what I was listening to and I told her Joe Rogan and Annie Jacobsen. She immediately got hostile. Her whole body language tensed up, her voice got more aggressive and she started asking me pointed questions that I could tell she wanted a debate. When I told her how I like how he invites guests on from all parts of life and he is a genuinely curious human she just said “ gross, he’s an idiot.” The brainwashed are real out there.

The data makes sense when you realize: 1. Men are naturally more conservative, and women are naturally more liberal. 2. Conceptual complexity makes women unhappy. The complexity point is obvious in any group setting. Men naturally know to reduce the complexity of conversations (away from the abstract) to keep women engaged.

People are so picky in these polls. I remember being super picky as a teen and early twenty something in college. My dates were too. These pollsters need to ask a bunch of single middle aged people who wanted to get married and have children but never got married or had children these questions. Also, ask a bunch of single previously married people in the same age range too. I wonder how picky that demographic still is. My experience is they want to know your bank balance, do you own a home or condo, do you have a pension or retirement savings, and how healthy are you. Everything else is secondary.

You should define your polling process along with your results. For example, the results of any cohort polled from Instagram is very likely to be quite different than results from the same poll administered to a non-Instagram using group. The method of polling carries with it an intrinsic selection bias that must be adjusted for or disclosed when the results are stated. If you present the results without defining the process, then your results will be taken out of context and are, as a result, essentially meaningless.

I feel like the results for the studies are super simplified. Say that women are way less happy when married to a man who earns less. There are a couple of possible explanations for this. You seem to be leaning towards: 1. The women needs a more successful man to be attracted to him without considering the possibility of: 2. The only thing that men had for hundreds of years is earning money and when you take that away they turn out to be incapable of taking good care of the household or otherwise contributing to the family. There's a good chance that once the defense of "I earn the money in this house" is taken away, guys are just worse partners. And for the attraction towars higher power men than your stay at home husband. Guys have been doing this for centuries too. People are attracted to successful people, because that implies passion and drive which are universally attractive features. I wouldn't be attracted to a wife with no hobbies or passions who just cleans the house either
