I'm happy they offered a "smaller" case, but this is still too large for the vast majority of enthusiasts. If they want to truly offer an accessible size, they need to look what Seiko did with their recent solar powered chronographs.

When I heard they will make a smaller version, I was hoping it would be something around 40mm, but it turns out the new smaller one is actually 43.5mm! So it is really a minor change. They could use one of the citizen eco-drive movements at their disposal and create a smaller and thinner case easily. Maybe that will eventually be offered.

@@omegawatchfan I certainly hope so. This is one I would love to have in my collection, but simply cannot justify it, even at a reasonable price point.

That sounds wise to me. I think many people love the design and buy the watch, only to end up never wearing it due to the size issue. I say this because there are so many pre-owned ones for sale that are in pristine like-new condition.

Love mine except for the chinese" leather " nato that smelled weird. Could have been some leather from a "wet market" so it got tossed into the dumpster. Haha yes I have heard negative comments about the stock strap. It is also not very strong for a watch of this size. I put mine on a fairly substantial black NATO strap (3- ring zulu actually) with black pvd hardware and it looks very good.
