This is one of the few, if not the only, video that actually shows how to remove and replace a battery. All of the others that I've seen only show as far as opening up the back case and let you SEE the battery without showing how to remove it. Much Thanks!

I was 100% confident I could change the battery until the end when you used the press. Is there an easy way to reset the back?

I dont know where i even got this watch from. I know its definitely vintage . Its gorgeous and thanks for showing me how to get the pin out to open the band and then i used a screwdriver made to fix eye glasses to pop the back open ! It worked !! Now ill have my watch up and running again in no time. Thank yoy !!

I couldnt get the back to snap in. I used a wooden ruler and placed it across the back and applied pressure in the center and it popped back in !!! Wow

Hands down(no pun intended)best display of the procedure on KZbin. Also makes it clear it is not the sort of thing you can properly do on your dining room table. Unless you happen to own a case press.

Can I please have the name of the white crown that is covering the internals of the watch after you remove the back. My wife lost hers after the person she took it to in order to change the battery could not put it back together and sent it home in pieces.. I have no idea what it is or if its important.

Yes it is so important. It is called plastic movement holder(PMH). If he/she cover back without this then dial will move. So it’s important to keep inside.
