I'm a Hucknall lad but , when I was living in the Welsh valleys I was a member of a male voice choir. One night we did a concert in the Marriot Hotel Bristol, afterwards in the bar , I saw someone I recognised from Emmerdale Farm , it was the actor who played the shotgun weilding father of Jacky Merrick. He was in Bristol filming Casualty. He said his name was Martin something and he was from Bulwell. I recognised him from the telly , and he recognised my Hucknall accent amongst the Welsh and Bristolian voices. We had a couple of pints and a good old laugh. I wish I could remember his surname , top bloke any road. Best regards : )

Love this. Very well put together. So funny, but yet so sad. I visited Bulwell today.
