Back in the olden days of Gen 1 Bumblebee was one of the mini transformers that only cost a few bucks. He was the only one of the minis that it was considered cool to own for some reason. Probably because he is cool.

Bumblebee's original form in both the toys and OG Earth canon was a Volkswagen Bug. In the first Transformer movie, it was an animated movie, he became Gold Bug after an overhaul. For the first modern reboot, him sticking to more "bug" type cars would have been more loyal to his OG theme. I mean, a Porsche 911 would have been the perfect sports car version of him. But then, a certain car company collective wanted the movie to advertise their cars as product endorsement funds for the movie(s).

Fantastic video, but sadly does not match the title in the slightest 😢😢 Les than a minute is spent on Cybertron (01:47 - 02:32), and there Bumblebee (B127) already exists and is already a trusted Autobot scout. There is an argument to be made that this is the origin story of the name Bumblebee for "Autobot scout B127", but in that case, the video should have ended at 04:42. This is very good and detailed recount of Bumblebees' resent film and television stories, just not "Bumblebee Origins", sorry. Thanks for all the great content though.

The 2016 Camaro from TLK wasn’t a ZL1 at all. It was an SS trim/form with its front end that actually appeared on a facelift 2020 Camaro that is criticize its design.
