As a person who grew up with the Bayverse, I definitely prefer the more G1 style of Wheeljack even if he had a second of screen time. I hope to see more of him, having a significant role in rise of the beast and I'm praying to primus that he doesn't get killed off.

2:33 I can safely that this is a problem I don’t have with my SS Wheeljack. The legs joints aren’t super stiff but they won’t fling around when you shake the figure. Though from what you said at the beginning, the loser legs joints, while always the case, are apparently a bit more common on the figure compared to other copies.

Wheeljack is the only transformer I own who can pull his weapon from storage naturally. As in he can reach back and pull his gun from the back peg himself, which gives him some dynamic posing with other bots.

Steve Blum voiced Wheeljack in that scene? Yikes then. Steve typically gives his characters very distinct voices, even across the many characters he plays, but in the scene Wheeljack just sounded like a normal dude. He didn't have the raspy reverberation to his voice he typically does. It sounded a lot like TFP Wheeljack. But real shit, Steve Blum NEEDS to become the full time voice actor for Starscream.

My best friend's son bought me this Wheeljack for Christmas. Thing is - he was with me in November when I saw a different Wheeljack in the shops and I said to him 'I wouldn't want that, I only really collect G1 inspired stuff' and he was really disappointed because he thought I wasn't going to like it and was kicking himself that he hadn't bought me Earthrise Wheeljack or a different Legacy figure instead! Soon as I opened it on Christmas day I could see it was a great figure and he was made up that I actually liked it, because he spent the whole run up to it thinking he'd wasted his money on something I wouldn't want! my legs were loose too, but I found a simple fix. Just rip off the corner of a tissue, pull of his legs, shove the tissue in the socket (using more or less depending on how loose) then put his legs back on. It works fine.

Okay so here is my hot take, the cybertronian bee was a pre tool of this kind of, alot of the enginerring seems similar (wirh the legs atleast) and to me it seems that they took what they did badly with the bee and improved it with wheeljack, honestly this figure is FIGHTING to be the best of 2022 only being beaten by ... sigh, earthrise skywarp WHICH THE EARTHRISE MOLD IS NOT AS BAD AS YOU SAY IT IS, I OWN 5 of the mold AND I CAN SAY IT IS AT LEAST A SOLID 7/10, and IS A GREAT IMPROVMENT TO THE CLASSICS MOLD, since i just bougjt the dirge like a few months ago, that feels like garbage and the earthrise feels amazing

I don’t get ur hate for Earthrise wheeljack’s alt mode. It’s very accurate to the real world race car. The spoiler is the size and shape of what a spoiler should be, and this might just be me, but I love the Easter egg tampos on the side. His robot mode isn’t that bad either. The arms while yes are disproportionate, are easily fixed if u move the shoulder transformation joint up slightly. The head sculpt is on point, and the accessories while lacking are bad. I’ll agree on the dog water accessories, but it Definitely went to the paint budget. He’s lathered. Paint on the head, chest, hands, back, spoiler, front legs, side legs, feet, and tires. Plus he holds prime wheeljack’s sword nicely if ur prime wheeljack’s leg peg broke.

It's actually really not. If you notice the doors are actually a couple feet thick on the toy, and the car has a much more pronounced cab section sitting a lot more proud, it's also a lot less flat looking. The ER looks like someone made the car from memory. And I find that even with the shoulders up he looks off, and it's annoying to have to do that anyways, since they want to come down like that. Other figures don't have those issues.

3rd Party Wheeljacks and Ironhides are being worked on currently, they just aren't finished, but we've seen prototypes.

The panels on Wheeljack's hands are part of his design. They typically move (may be at the bottom or inner side of his wrists), in his various incarnations, due to toy transformation requirements. This one seems to split the difference, & has it wrap around a bit. I thought the Masterpiece was clever with how they implemented them (taillights swing around, to the insides of the arms). I think they were under his hands, rather than on the inside of the lower arm, in the G1 cartoon.

Yay for narcisswrists! While I don’t have one, he certainly looks like the best of this wave. On the size issue, I tend to agree that I prefer better engineering and no hollowness but are these figures lighter than a Kingdon deluxe? Are we seeing another reduction in size of transformers in addition to a price rise? If the weight is the same then it’d be a “no,” they’re just smaller. But if they weigh less than last year’s deluxes it feels like a cash grab.

What the heck are you even talking about? Your dialog is so sped up I can't understand a word you're even saying the entire review. It sounds like you hate this figure. You were talking about what else does it hate going for it besides looking G1 which I assume was a comparison to Que who is never even called Wheeljack in the movie, his name was going to be Wheeljack according to some leaks but the actual movie never once called him that, his name is Que. And then you seem to complain about how the "space mode" looks in comparison to Earthrise Wheeljack who doesn't even have a Space Mode. I have no idea what figure that is you showed off at 7:02 but that's not Earthrise Wheeljack. Seriously slow the F down, I don't know what the hell you're saying.

What some people have said helps is slowing the video down to .75% speed. I've listened to it like that and it sounds good basically no distortion. But I'm not sure how it could possibly sound like I hate this thing when I love it. I will still talk about the flaws it has as those could bother someone more than they do me, but that doesn't mean I hate it. It's fine to acknowledge negatives. I know that he wasn't actually called Wheeljack in the movie, and I'm grateful every day for that, but basically everyone knows at this point who that was "Supposed" to be. What I was saying about the space mode is that It's an amazing Space mode, and also at the same time, more like the G1 Design for Wheeljack than the ER version which was just insanely bad in the altmode. The ER was like the creator drew Wheeljack from memory after only ever having seen him once. That figure you saw at the time Stamp, was my Custom Siege Wheeljack, made out of a Siege Ratchet. And at this point I can't slow down, my fans would loose their shit. I ran a poll about it and everything and over 90% of my fans like the speed. Seriously just try the 75% thing, it works better than you think.

I still don't get why you're comparing the Cybertronian vehicle mode of this figure to another figure that doesn't even have a comparible alt mode. Like I could understand making comparisons between B-217 and WfC Bumblebee because they're both actually meant to be Cybertronian but how do you complain about a vehicle mode not looking alien that was never suppose to in the first place? That's a good custom BTW and it kind of annoys me that Hasbro never made an official one to go with Origin Bumblebee since Wheeljack was with Bumblebee in both the G1 cartoon as well as in the Seige cartoon. I want a Wheeljack damn it! Especially if he's big enough to load Bumblebee into the back or at least give me some storage for those energon rods Bumblebee came with.

It looks more like the Earth Car it's supposed to be, and it still looks like a space car, because that's how bad the ER was. And ABSOLUTELY! Earthrise Wheeljack: Aside from robot mode scaling better, I still prefer the old Generations one that was a retool of Reveal the Shield Tracks. On the other hand, it's still better than that shitty Combiner Wars Wheeljack. Bumblebee Wheeljack is pretty cool...funny thing is that it's also a retool; the mold has already been retooled a couple times over: Wheeljack is a retool of B127 (& Cliffjumper), and B127 (& Cliffjumper) is a retool of Off-road Bumblebee (the jeep). That said, it explains the wholly painted feet, because B127 has almost fully painted feet that are clear plastic as well. He'd definitely need an upsize to like Leader class (with appropriate engineering additions), but his vehicle mode design could make a nice Masters of the Universe Crossovers iteration of the Attack Trak. Can't say that for B127, Cliffjumper, or Off-road Bumblebee. 😏😏😏

Steve Blum is an overrated voice actor I only particularly like in Ben 10 and SOME X-Men cartoons and am sick of in Mortal Kombat (although the atrocious writing of Sub-Zero’s character in X and 11 is probably tainting my view of his voice) I would love literally anyone else to take up Wheeljack’s voice in the next movie

Personal I hope Steve blum dont voice Wheeljack,perfer the original but the studio filter has voice like they did for Peter cullen in the first Transformers movie,when u listen to Prime's voice in that movie,his voice sounds robotic like he is wearing his mask,that would fit Jack because he is wearing a mask all the time,if steve blum ever voice a movie character,I hope its Vortex or Rampage(The one that combines)

Just replayed with my earthjack and yeah the little window parts art bad, in fact, one of them has a crake on so maybe it's time for me to upgrade... That part with the 3d printed part. Yeah sorry I liked the bumble bee movie but I can't bring myself to say earthjack is trash like earthcee.

Just yesterday recieved my upgrade kit for the ER version and it looks so much better with its shoulder gun and long wings, still i agree with your statement, uk should only be used to enhance a great figure but in this case this is to make a bad figure not an eyesore to me, also fun fact wheeljack voice in latin america is in a robotic monotone voice like soundwave, which is odd considering no other transformers has his voice changed, and also thoughts on legacy blitzwing (mine in a nutshell: tank mode good, jet bad, figure all around ok but if its possible to interchange the turret just to better my TR one it would be just amazing lmao )

Earthrise wheeljack really is awful. I new that before this video. Horrible pose ability, bad pre-portions, and for SOME REASON, the car mode is so wide the doors would have to be about a meter each sticking out. Dear god that last sentence sounded so, so, so wrong. I love me some wheeljack!! The 1st retail purchase transformer I ever had( Slag was the very 1st through a convoluted chain of events and 2nd hand). I was super stoked about this figure...but... On my copy the torso comes untransformed every time I touched the arms! It is driving me insane
