Hey, I’ll be travelling to Kyoto from Osaka too & will be staying near Kyoto Station for 4 days. Am also worried I’ll be lost with the train commute from Osaka airport to Kyoto Station. 1. Where do you get the ticket of that hello kitty train? 2. Just checking what transport pass did you get for your stay in Kyoto? E.g ICOCA card/suica etc

hello! 1. you can purchase the ticket from the train station outside the airport in Osaka (1:10). there's an information centre that can help you with the purchase of tickets if the machines are too confusing. 2. some of us used the ICOCA card and some chose to buy a ticket on the spot for wherever we were headed to. no difference in price so either way is okay. enjoy your trip! you can always ask around like we did if you need help and you'll definitely be able to find your way : )
