It's refreshing to see videos of how most of us sailors do it. We don't have quarter mil yachts sailing through the Caribbean. We have what we could afford, fix things best we can and have to deal with British weather lol Keep up the good fight ❤

Love all the tech jargon 😂, Terry have a look around the marina you may find a bit of wood to mount your switches on. Nothing wrong with a bit of dumpster diving!

It’s nice seeing you doing jobs in a normal manner. Unlike other channels who spout this is the Wright way and only do it this way.😂😂😂

Nice work Terry! Good to see you making some progress on the projects. For me, it’s half the fun of the videos but I can imagine you’re wanting to get out and sail now. Keep it going!

Lol, Terry if you start every video telling everyone how crap the vlog will be, you’ll run the risk of people going “oh alright then I’ll not watch it”. The vlogs are always interesting sir, keep up the good work.

I don’t agree. I see Terry’s frankness, honesty and self deprecation as a refreshing antidote to typical YT sailing channels. Algorithms fuel homogeneity. Everything ends up looking the same. It’s important to remain different. Authentic. Opening up with “this might be shit” is music to my ears and I suspect I’m not alone.

If you can get your hand on a "multi tool" you will have much more possibilities for repairs. Its basicly a circularsaw,sander,holemaker,thing that goes places no tool could ever do. Also Trespa is a good woodlike material thats fairly cheap (Trespa is a brand name) its made of compressed plastic, and easy to work with.

I used to build control panels, I did one the size of a double shower that was for a nuclear power station. (i dont know the station name, they wouldn't tell us 🤷♂) It had some test equipment inside but mainly ran the fire alarm system and triggered different systems to react to fire's in different locations. Looking at the rats nest of what 20 wires I wonder how it ended up looking so bad. 🤣🤣 I'm not having a dig at your ability Im sure it will look so much better after you finish with it. 2x👍

Doing a good job Terry , good to have good labels and "comb" the wires out to keep it neat and best too use proper screw in terminal blocks than crappy clip in connections and perhaps if the fridge is in its permanent spot to hard wire it in than risk dodgy connections with plug in type cigarette lighter type plugs given the load the fridge takes ,make sure 12 volt wiring is well away from 240 volt wires so no voltage is induced to the 12 volt due to them being close together.

Good job! You should think of that the WAGO connectors with the orange arm is not rated for any higher current. If you have two 12V outlets they might go to two consumers that pull 10A each and that would be too much. What is the size of the fuse for it?
@normanboyes49837 ай бұрын
They are rated for 32 Amp.
@fredrikbergquist57347 ай бұрын
@@normanboyes4983 there are tests of them on YT and they get pretty hot at 32A. Bevare of copies aswell.
