Hi matey, yes you fell victim to 'technofeudalism', where someone else owns all your content and can do what they like without asking you. All content creators are really just serfs to the platform. The platform is owned by a super wealthy lord/oligarch/autocrat. Check out Yanis Varoufakis' book of the same title (technofeudalism). I run a wordpress website, totally ad free, costs me about £10 a month for the hosting. The rest of it is built and run by me.

Memberships are great, but KZbin takes around 40% of it which seems poor value for both myself and the member. If you joined my new website, I get 99.5% of the subscription. Which seems better all round. Thank you for your kindness!
