A ballistic helmet might give you a saving throw, but feels like if you getting shot at in the upper body chances are you're in a situation where you're likely to die.

Think of the helmet more as a hardhat for construction. A lot of injuries on the battlefield happen from smacking your head not necessarily shrapnel or bullets so a bump helmet is good for that purpose. That being said if you have the money and are strong enough you might as well get used to something with a little bit of ballistic capability because at the end of the day we’re just playing with odds

All that we really know is that he has some sort of history and experience over in Isreal. Some sort of military experience, maybe spec-ops?? But I agree, would love to hear about his history and even see him be the main front man for CF now that Clint is gone. He's way more knowledgeable about firearms and way more comfortable being in front of the camera

Ballistic high speed tested ballistic helmets, granted it was at point blank range but pretty much any rifle round goes through em. It'll protect from shrapnel, but don't expect to survive taking one to the dome. A bump will protect you from well... bumps and not much else

I've simply never been sufficiently impressed by ballistic helmet performance in tests - I don't see the cost justification.

Can someone help me resolve my issue? I have a HHV Gen 2 + their pop in adapter and Walker Razors. I upgraded the pads which are supposed to have a better seal over ears in addition to added comfort. My problem is that they do not seal completely over my ears and does not provide ample hearing protection. I push them in as far as I can and have no idea how to make them fit over my ears any better. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
