As a medical professional here.. this is very concerning behaviour by your sister. Your parents need to be monitored closely for elder abuse. If your sister is blatantly willing to be verbally abusive to you and to your very young children.. you need to consider that this is going on at your parents home, as well. Her behaviour is completely unacceptable.
@sylvialyles919 Жыл бұрын
As a mandated reporter and you hear what is going on with her own actions, 'REPORT HER'!! There's ways for the authorities to find out who they are and where they live! I pray they get pop up visits constantly! I wonder if she's poisoning them spiteful because you got married and left home and left her there to care for them???🤔🤔🤔

Your sister definitely has some mental difficulties! I know you love your mom and dad but sometime you have to back off. You have gone over and beyond what I would have done to try to share your kids with them! Don’t force them to be grandparents if they don’t want too. Plenty of kid grow up without grandparents and they are find. I’m sorry but your mom, dad and sister are strange and it has nothing to do with their cultural beliefs! Let them be miserable by themselves. You have sooooo many good reasons to be overjoyed 😊! Congratulations! 🎉

Absolutely spot on. As I wrote in my comment, trying to analyze and respond to her as a rational person or seeing her lack of filters as mere cruelty is misguided. Under no circumstances should Justin expose his impressionable treasures (S and kids) to the sister. I speak from experience. The parents chose their "prison" and will continue to regress the harder he tries to press the matters. 🙏🏻

As a care giver to an elderly parent, I would suggest getting respite care into the home to take a little pressure off of your sister. Is she going to work each day? Perhaps a Korean social worker could come to speak to her? It seems everyone is still functioning physically, but that is soon going to change, and the mental health of everyone at your parent's home seems shakey. She does seem like she has some mental health issues and is unable to hide them, making me think she is overwhelmed and depressed and angry. Its true that you don't know her well anymore, and perhaps a neutral third party could get something going.

There's a story about a man who saves all of his money to finally one day go on a cruise. At the end of the cruise he was talking to other guests who were sharing about all the fun activities they did, sites they saw, and food they ate and he mentioned that he hadn't been able to do any of those. When they asked why not he said he had used all of his money for the cruise and couldn't do extra things and they told him that it was included. So that entire time he had missed out on the beauty of the things that he had worked so hard for. It reminds me of your parents and sister. They got to Canada, a wonderful place where they can build relationships, explore, learn, experience so many new fun things with family and friends, but they choose to hide away in their homes and fill their hearts with bitterness. I love the example that you're setting for them of living a happy healthy life in a wonderful place. I hope your father's health continues to improve and that your mother and sister can start to have their eyes opened to the beauty around them if they are able to step out of their homes and step out of their selfishness.

Your sister is seriously mentally compromised. Does she have a job or is living off your parents? This seems to go beyond mere jealousy into the realm of a deeper disturbance. Many mental conditions do not manifest themselves until early adulthood. Justin, thank you for this update. Your Sister sounds, and acts so bitter towards you, she is possibly jealous of the freedom you have, and the choices that you have made. I too was very close to my sister from when i can remember, until i was in my Twenties, when our paths changed, i always supported her, but she pushed me away, and turned my only nephew against me, i have had no contact with them for over 27 years. Its difficuly having an only sibling that you can not communicate with comfortably, honestly i feel for you. Best to keep the kids away, she sounds unpredictable. Best wishes for your Dad's full recovery. Best wishes Sarah, and your three precious little one's xx

Her behavior is a clear manifestation of untreated mental illness, not mere jealousy and trying to analyze it from that standpoint will only result in emotional damage to the innocent children and both J and S. Her unfiltered unhinged behavior around the nurse only confirms it. Having seen/experienced it up close since childhood (now in my 50s), I shudder to think of avoidable trauma kids will experience even after a single encounter should Justin try to force meetings in the name of being a filial son. The parents' regression is ALSO a textbook response.

I’m sad that you have to experience such disrespect from your sister. As hurtful as her comments are it comes from her own unhappiness and bitterness. It’s her loss because she’s missing out on being an auntie to your children. Focus on your beautiful family and the love from your wife and kids. 🙏🏼❤️

I think that its important that you are patient with your parents, and I am glad that your parents met the kids (watched a recent video). When it comes to your sister, do not put up with her crap. Never ever ever.

I am so sorry your sister has so much animosity towards her own brother. You are way better in terms of maturity. Your sister clearly wants control and is showing her jealously in this way. Clearly evident. Your family is beautiful.

Praying that Gods softens your sister’s heart and take all the hate and bitterness she has against you and your family. Your parents aren’t going to be here forever and she’s going to need family and I hope she realizes how alone she’ll be without you guys in her life. I don’t understand how someone could be so mean towards innocent children. Justin you’re correct in protecting your kids from your sisters negative energy.

You're such a patient & extremely tolerant person Justin. Boy i wish I had your qualities, but hell no would I be putting up with your sisters utter rudeness towards you. Especially after how close you were as siblings. I honestly think she's extremely jealous of you, as that's exactly where she would like to be in life. I know you have chosen the best way to handle everything - your family and keeping your wife and family Strong. You're a true blessing and the world needs MORE men like yourself. Best wishes & congratulations on Sarah & your latest arrival 💫💐🎊🎈👶🍼

I admire your perseverance to rebuild the bridges with your parents and sister. I personally would not have done this. It is ok to cut out hurtful family members. It is ok to want to protect your and your family's mental health. I wish you all the best on this journey and I hope your parents see your children again soon.
