Lets be real the only reason that albums ever got created in the first place is because if your going to buy a record, cassette, or cd, your not going to buy it if there is only 1 song on it so the artists had to fill up the entire thing to sell it. It's always been about making a quick buck especially when the labels are running things. Albums are just a way to sell a group of songs because there was no way to sell individual songs.
