Whenever i see and hear about dosas i get strong memories. Before and all I used to hog icecreams in the rainy seasons, sometimes i used to get bad cough and chest congestion. Then it used to be time for me to visit the doctor. The code word in South India for getting injections and beatings is called masala dosas. She would 100% gimme one or more painful injections on my bums. After getting i used to visit my aunt's place where she used to see me rubbing my bums and tease me that the doc gave me masala dosa on one bum and special rava masala dosa on the other bum. she used to ask me if i want to eat more icecreams in rains again.
Hii i am new nice recepie its similar as gujrati handva

Maam This is so yummy and great food. But why you named it Dosa, can’t we call it Appe or Masala Idly or fried Idly. Calling it Dosa changing the meaning of Dosa from whole world itself.
@lubnasehar917826 күн бұрын
It is called Dosa, because the Batter is poured on the pan It's not steamed like idli It's quantity of pouring batter is not as tiny as appe It's quantity of pouring batter on the pan, is as much as Dosa. It is indeed a Dosa, made with Dosa batter, by pouring it upon the pan

According to Ayurveda, *cooking curd (yogurt) is not advised* because it alters its natural qualities and can disrupt digestion. Curd is considered “madhura” (sweet) and “amla” (sour) in taste, with cooling properties that balance pitta dosha and support digestion when consumed raw. However, heating curd can: 1. Destabilize its nutrients: Heat changes the structure of curd’s proteins and destroys beneficial bacteria, reducing its probiotic benefits. 2. Aggravate doshas: Cooked curd is thought to become “viruddha ahara” (incompatible food), which can increase pitta and kapha doshas, leading to issues like indigestion, lethargy, and toxin accumulation (ama).
