They simply do NOT live in the areas they are telling the world can absorb endless people because they want to appear as Atticus Finch. Everyone screams about the number, or lack thereof, pertaining to the number of asylum seekers arriving. Yet they never ever talk about the absurb levels of net migration currently active which make our asylum numbers relatively low.

It's sickening how Jess Philips handled herself. She kept interrupting everyone, making snarky comments, and was just so angry through her talking that it was unpleasant to listen to. Everyone else listened patiently and spoke politely. Anyway, did Jess Philips really compare the mass sexual assaults in cologne to a few catcalls on the high street? Disgusting. Feminists seem to go apeshit over rape, until it really happens by anyone who's not a cis gender heteronormative white male, and then it's only as bad as catcalling. 2 women are murdered a week? And how many men are? Oh it's more than that, but you decided not to mention that did you? You're lying by omission. Oh god and your fringe is horrible.

3:18 Jess Phillips there, somewhat undermining her argument by saying people have to "suffer the effects of migration" whilst at the same time saying it's fine. Incidentally, Jess "all tighten our belts" Philips voted to INCREASE MP salaries. Which I find odd for a socialist who makes between £100 - 300 per HOUR doing consultancy work and appearances. Not to mention; On 6 September 2016 she earned £25,625 for 80 hours work. 10 November 2016, received £25,625 advance for a book. Hours: no additional hours. 10 April 2017, received £25,625 advance payment for a book. Hours: no additional hours. That's on top of her Parliamentary salary of £66,365.12 and the party payroll of £20,000 - £25,000 But yeah... she's just like us. Pulling in that belt of hers. Without taking a side on the topic of migrants, I am struck by how emotional our politics and discussion of issues has become. Consider the last two big referendums in the UK , Scottish Independence and Brexit. Both fueled by emotional thinking as opposed to facts. In this debate no facts are actually used, numbers stats etc. Every argument is based on what the person perceives as opposed to actual data. Again I'm not taking a side, but how can you make an informed argument on a tv show on such an emotive topic just based on emotional thinking without any reference to any actual data whatsoever.

QT and every BBC show is vetted. They had a show on the noise from Church Bells cayisng a nuisance and I asked how about the noise from the Aaaan, (call to prayer) from the Mosques where over 1500 attended. and I sent thm footage of that. My own MP did not even get in touch with me about tht as his electorate is Islamic, and they refused that. I then asked whey there was no coverage of Mosques still opening in the height of Covid and not one Meida, BBC, sky, ITV would cover that, But after the Covid they went national about a Sikh and Hindu temple having more than 6 people.

That could be read both ways.... The worth of the lives of the people /natives already here and in our countries . We built our countries, raised generations, died building our communities... And it's easy for invaders to snatch it via unchecked, not needed immigration/ media propaganda /political loopholes and it's a globalist invasion. We are overpopulated as a world and it's completely unsustainable. Why make it worse?

Its not a question of skin colour, religious background or culture....its simply the problem of too many bums on seats. We should take a share of the burden. But recognising a geo-economic saturation point does NOT make you a racist.

DrJams Yes. Immigrants tend to be more likely to vote Labour Party or what are referred to as ‘left’ parties. So, there is the temptation to make policies that perpetuate immigration. (A controlled, proportionate, amount of legal immigration is ok, but still, this vicious cycle matter is still concerning).

The woman in the audience who seemed overly pleased with mass immigration said that "Who expects them to control their borders", a fair comment, and then when a member of the panel says that we have to try and be cautious in how many we take, she says "we need a safe crossing". This is along the lines of trying to control borders, pretty much impossible.

I have always had a great deal of admiration for the British people. Although I am Canadian, my ancestors came from England, Scotland, and Ireland. Having said all this, it makes me very sad to read the comments on this video. We must have compassion on those less fortunate than ourselves. God put the Syrians on the Earth the same as the British and the Canadians, and I think we need to try to help each other.

The fact is, that immigrants who want to come to the UK, should apply and if they meet the criteria, then fine. They need to be able to live here in the UK without being a burden on society. If they can't then they should be denied access.

The point is that poorer areas and working class people are expected to bear the brunt of higher immigration. They are expected to make room, while the upperclass and the capitalists suffer naught. As is typical in any recession where the poor and working class suffer under austerity while the banks get billions in bailouts. Hardly fair. It is only fair that we all offer what we can to help people who are suffering, locally or abroad. That means the upper class and big business need to take on their fair share, which would alleviate the pressure on the working class.

“It's always the poorest people in this country who have to suffer the effects of migration” Jess Phillips is talking nonesense again and the crony nodding in support is just as dishonest. MPs know that the reason why the poorest people are the ones who suffer most of the effects of migration is because they live in poor areas where the cost of living isn't so high. When refugees are given somewhere to live, in order to save taxpayers money they are also taken to places where the cost of living is low. Does she have a valid reason for complaining about this policy or is she just trying to rally support from people who like to become outraged without thinking?

Why the uk? What’s wrong with France, Germany, Holland? Oh wait... benefits and free housing offered to migrants that’s why. It’s not to ‘seek asylum within the UK it’s to make use of what the uk has to offer them. If they are willing to work then fair enough. But to just simply arrive and expect free housing and benefits and to live off benefits alone is not the right way about it.
