Just started working with NW bundt pans Dec 2021. I LOVE the bundt pans and am working to collect them - I have 6 so far. I am a VERY new cook - started at age 54. I use the Bakers Joy spray in a can flour. IT WORKS FLAWLESSLY. Then I use my silicone brush and hit every corner. Not one screw up yet. LOVE the quality of your products. Please never stop.

Good Info! I now have a few Nordic Ware pans....Bakers Joy is awesome, but I have found any spray with flour works well, just use enough....and I never wash my pans....once they are cool I clean them with a medium size medium bristle paint brush, then wipe with paper towels, and then bake in a 200 degree oven for 10 minutes to sterilize....it will save your pan if you don't wash them. That said, my cakes have always come out clean, so I am not fighting with "dirty" pans ever.

Thank you for the tips of not washing the pans. I’m new to baking with my granddaughter at the ripe old age of 56 so any and all tips I can gain is greatly appreciated

This has been more then help helpful every time I basic cake and I use the baking spray I end up getting a crust so I was wondering if I was able to spread that around with a towel or a brush like you're using I thought that it might affect the outcome. So after seeing this video I know that I'll be fine and it really is a relief on the brain

The reality is that no matter how hard you try, Nordic Ware pans fail at least half the time where the cake sticks to the pan and breaks when/if it comes out. So if you fail, it's not your fault and you are not alone.

I know this comment is a million years late but thank you, thank you SO much for this video! I bought a Nordic Ware Bundt pan for a lucky $8, 5 yrs ago and have been afraid to use it, every since! LOL! All because I have seen people use one and have broken, ripped or destroyed cake come out of it. Now, I feel the confidence to finally use my pan for the first time! If you still work there, Jenny, thanks for the video!

Is there a gluten-free option with Baker's Joy?

Thank you, Jenny and Nordic Ware, for this super informative and thorough video! I've been panicking because I've been roped into making a rum cake for the family Christmas party. I've managed to find a Nordic Ware bundt pan (not easy in the UK) on eBay and will be practicing that rum cake before I have to offer the final one to my in-laws. This video gives me hope!😂

If you dont have access to "Bakers Joy" or "PAM" (Sweden) is it just as efficient to smear butter in the church/house like pan and then dust it?

What flour do you suggest please for dusting a red velvet Bundt cake. Thanks for this informative video. Just baked my first Bundt, a red velvet n the top came very dark coz I used cocoa to dust it.
@NordicWareusa5 жыл бұрын
Hello! For a red velvet cake, we would use cocoa powder as well if prepping the pan with shortening/butter and dusting the pan. The best option to use is baking spray containing flour and using a pastry brush to evenly coat the details of the pan. We hope this helps! If you have any more questions, please reach out to our consumer service team at info@nordicware.com!
