This is easier to watch, than to try and read the manual for the disassembly process. With the problem I have(mentioned in my recent email about my 230) I believe I first need to drain the oil down far enough to remove the right side cover, with the response control, to see if my roller is in place properly. Thanks for your videos and help.

What a wonderful teacher you are Lance I have a 6 speed 135 which I use for road runs & shows.I may be 74 but I am learning more from you than out of a manual. I also enjoy your machining. I used to have access to a lathe & milling machine. THANKS.

Great video. I have a lift issue where the lower lift arms won't go down far enough on a 66 UK 135, otherwise lift is raising and lowering ok. Can I adjust the bottom screw at 9:12 to make the lift arms go down further? Lift needs to drop maybe another 6 inches. I have no pressure control, just draft & position.
@BundyBearsShed
@BundyBearsShed 11 ай бұрын
No I dont think so, possibly lift the top of and run through the correct adjustments and it should come good.

Audio level issues. 11:00 Levels jump up (to where I believe they should be). 12:00 Drop back down (to levels that I believe are lower than they should). I've noticed on the last few videos the levels all seem to be to low. At that 11:00 minute mark I can hear the details of the shop, but nothing is obnoxious. I expect to hear the shed, foot steps, etc. Hope that helps so you have some specific spots to see the differences in those levels.

@@BundyBearsShed Well that explains the issue! Ol Lance is having a look when when he should be havin a listen! You're doing a fine job. I'm always amazed at the content. It's not easy trying to get something done then add a camera... and now mics, and booms, and... where does it stop? LOL
@tjohnson9051
@tjohnson9051 6 жыл бұрын
I'll second that. the volume has been low since the new microphone setup. What Shain said is about right for my computer with 80 watt separate amp and speakers. I have KZbin volume all the way up and the one on the monitor then my Amp is at almost 3/4. At the 11:00 mark is good and it matches other You Tube channels. PS not wearing flip flops today -26C. Freezing my banana!

Ah Im onto it, even though the levels in the editing are the same with volume on the time line it is in the size of the wave form. Biggest mistake you make is thinking I know what Im doing, lol.

HI, great video series. I have an MF250. The rear lift arms are not responding to the controls. They lift when I first start the tractor (in the transport postion), but if I lower them, they will not lift again until I switch off the tractor, wait a few minutes, then start it again in the transport position. If I put an implement on the back, the lift is very slow and juddery but still will not respond to the lift control. What could be the cause?
@BundyBearsShed
@BundyBearsShed Жыл бұрын
It sounds like a sticky pump control valve, Pull the rh trans cover off and see if you can see what is going on.

@@BundyBearsShed Yep, needed a bit of effort with a screw driver to push it toward the front of the tractor. It's freed up a lot now. Need to drain and renew the fluid now, it was milky. Replaced the gear shift rubber too, hopefully less water will get in now.
@richyphillips
@richyphillips Жыл бұрын
Spoke too soon. I put the loader on, fine, move the lift arms, fine, attached a box grader, it won't lift it and then the loader wouldn't lift either. If it's the control value, that looks like a big job :-(
@richyphillips
@richyphillips Жыл бұрын
The control valve was stuck again, so I freed it up, but the loader still moves at less than a snails pace. I have a pressure gauge on order but I reckon there is not enough pressure to lift the loader.

It's nice to know about that roller and how easy it is to remove to avoid bending the rod. I sometimes tug on things that don't move like I think they should and would have bent that rod for sure.

Lance, I have a UK 135 that when I use the hydraulics the pump is pulsating even shakes the tractor while it has a load on it. Any Ideas, thanks
@BundyBearsShed
@BundyBearsShed Жыл бұрын
They will do that under load at times and it is bad when there is a leak some times. I think the pump may be well worn.

Mr. Bundy...in the first segment of this video I see your draft and position control and I just noticed that your position control plate is backwards...at least compared to my MF 20 Industrial. Even the label on the plate seems to indicate this with the up position being labeled as down. Shouldn't the two concave sides face each other? Thanks for the video...I'm about to tackle this myself!

With the roller in the front of screw, arms don’t work. However, if I manually push the roller to the rear, it lifts the arms? What is wrong that the pump doesn’t work when the rollers go forward?
@BundyBearsShed

So if it all works manually and doesnt with using the levers the top cover where the levers are is out of adjustment.

@ really appreciate your help. Watched your video again and the roller on your tractor stays in contact with vertical arm. My roller stays in the hold position and lets the vertical level leave it (gap created) when put in lift. What causes the roller to push against the roller even when the tractor is off?

Wondering if you have any idea why my Massey 245 lift arms stutter when lifting. They lift fast and strong and go down smooth but they just have this tremble while going up. I removed the Lift Pump, stripped it down completely, immaculately cleaned it, replaced all oring's and back up washers, new piston rings, new pressure relief valve, fresh new Permatran 3 oil in the sump and it made no difference at all. All the pump parts that I didn't replace looked to be in great shape. The tractor only has 1000 hrs and has been always stored inside. No rust on anything. Now I'm unsure where to go from here. I feel like it should lift buttery smooth. Could it be the lift cover? Also the lift arms do not leak down when left overnight or longer. I'm stumped Sir. Wondering if you have any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Some do lift smooth but it often depends on the load on the arms, Its hard to say without being there.
