I so agree! When I sent the pictures to my mom, she said, "I thought you were staying in a nice place." 😂 I told her I was and that it was a historical hotel. Seeing the vintage work and the non-perfection settled my nerves about my own heading-for-vintage home.

Anytime I travel to LA I always stay at the chateau marmont. It's such a lovely place and you feel like your taken back in time.

I enjoyed watching this. I love vintage old Hollywood Glamour. Years ago a friend and I walked around inside the Lobby area. Thank you for showing us your Bungalow...I love how they have preserved the originals "things don't have to be perfect to be beautiful" from the soft pastel wallpaper to the ice maker freezer. Notice the classy details of the personalized welcome letter highlighting attentive guest service..."our pool is accessible 24 a day to make a splash whenever you desire."

Lovely just lovely. I hope they had stationary I just love hotel stationary, in a time of emails it's always nice to get a hand written letter. I would always take the stationary with me and amassed a tidy collection, however, in a fit of Marie Kondo guilt I gave it to Goodwill. I hate Marie Kondo and her get rid of everything philosophy. Anyways I digress, I love staying in hotels and an iconic hotel in Waikiki called the Halekulani use to have bungalows and I always thought is would be nice to stay there (there are pictures on the internet) alas it was not to be they were torned down to modernize and expand the resort (it's a resort now). Thanks for sharing your stay I always wondered what it looked like.
