Ex diris also works great with Spark of Beacons because every final blow will essentially have 2 sources of blinding, with the moth and the blinding explosion. If you pair it with electrostatic mind on arc warlock pretty much every ad makes an ionic trace, and you can build into this with either veritys brow, fallen sunstar, or geomags

I tried Plunder's Mothkeeper+Ex Diris build earlier in the season. It didn't really click for me, but it's fine. The synergy with mothkeepers is really cool. "Overperforming" as Bungie would say? I don't think so at all. It sounds like maybe the moth changes have brought it up just enough to be competitive with other builds. I'd hate to see Bungie roll back something just because people are actually using the gun now 😂

The 33% buff never went live. The statement from Bungie is them clarifying that it was a leftover internal note and they have no intention of adding the buff. So they aren’t nerfing Ex Diris.

Facet of mending on prismatic seems like the only grenade mod that counts the moths, but it's crazy cuz you get cures off moth kills constantly.

Everything has been an overreaction to hunter this season because for some people were complaining that it was the most broken class when most warlocks are carried by their exotics, and titans can nuke whole rooms with melees but somehow hunters were the problem because they were dominating pvp with prismatic which I feel like it’s fair considering they are by far the weakest pve subclass

As a warlock main, I've been a motherkeeper/exdiris hunter stan since mothkeepers wraps came out! The buff did exdiris so good! Now if only we could get bungie to buff moth speed! The moths are waaaayyy too slow when tracking enemies! I find myself stopping mid slay out so the moths can do their jobs🤣

That's a misinterpretation of what happened. That patch notes said the gun got a damaged buff and a rate of fire buff, in game it only received the ROF buff. The "overperforming" was their in game tests with what was written in the patch notes

Even though it's not the greatest build, I've been trying solo flawless Vesper's Host as a mothy boi. I like it more on Prismatic since it feels like it has a bit more firepower compared to Void.

Exdris with liturgy (chill clip) and bitter sweet actual has a nasty dps rotation abusing concussive reload arc compounding and the cosmic crystal artifact mods as they all stack

Part of me feels like running this on arc would be crazy too. Sure you don't have devour or invis, but I feel like you'd generate traces like crazy to feed all of your abilities. Spark of Discharge Amplitude Ions Shock/Resistance

Hey don t you get devour from the artefact when killing a weakined targer ? so tehnicaly you can get devour on prismatic if you kill a yellowbar as grenade launcher weakens them :-?

Maven i have an idea not related to this video but i thought might be a really good addition to the game: a new legendary trace rifle lightweight frame archetype, being that all trace rifles under this category are primary ammo instead of special My idea for this is to add more variety to trace rifles, like the support frame auto in final shape being something to add more variety to auto rifles Why you may ask? There’s only 1 trace rifle archetype, aka adaptive frame and we need to change that My idea for the lightweight frame being primary ammo is to add a unique functionality to the trace rifles like lightweight frame autos being functionally the same as rapid fire but just letting you move faster, and my idea for the unique functionality is that these trace rifles behave similar to how smgs are kind of the same as autos but closer ranged and higher damage, so a functionality for this archetype being that while they do less damage than special trace rifles, lightweight frames gain the ability to not only let you run faster, but also having 2 more abilities: 1. they are more suited for some mechanics around activities, like doing more damage to constructs and mechanic entities like witness glyphs And 2. like the support frame auto, they will have some unique firing: the lasers have a travel speed unlike special traces and most weapons having instant bullet velocity (they travel instantly), and at longer ranges being somewhat more noticeable, but in exchange, they will have some unique perks ideas for perks I thought of are beacon rounds, functioning the same as normal, except that the laser will curve a little towards an enemy for the tracking function, and having some perks unique to special and heavy weapons, this being an exception, and a trace in this archetype having the capability to roll with a perk like target lock, and a idea for a new perk being that on rapid final blows, any elemental buff matching the same element as the trace rifle extends for longer, with more time being added depending on enemy type defeated Took me half an hour to cook this lmao, what do you think?

Ex Diris is silly on osmiomancy stasis warlock. Coldsnap, ex diris shatter, spawn a gazillion seekers, spawn a moth, seeker freeze, moth explodes on their face, and repeat.

I hate when I try builds that I can't even solo the prestige on, and Bungie is like...this is too good. Which MAY be the case for those rella-really good. But for Blueberries like me, it just hurts. Almost as bad as when you can grind Lost Sectors for 3 weeks a season till they re-up what level you have to be to play. Exaggerating, but not by much?!?

I like the moth build in general, but I feel like I'm putting in a lot of work get good results. If I'm on hunter doing something like an onslaught I can go triton vice with the right glaive and do just as much. Then I get the added benefit of a shield, not worrying about blowing myself up, and I can play around on my phone while I do it. Then as far as it being too strong. As long as I see titans slamming their way solo through GMs in under 10 mins I don't want to hear it...
