Lemme add another thing into the mix. Since we have the VS Chill Inhibitor, you can run Stasis Surge instead to double down on weapon surges... but also, you can use Fighting Lion as your primary weapon with infinite ammo. Because Fighting Lion is a primary weapon, you will also spawn special ammo bricks and won't need to expend your armor charges for the Stasis Surges AND you can run Proximity Finisher instead to stay healthy when you are dodging for gambler's dodge. Tinasha's will let you freeze beefier targets in place, then you can follow up with a direct impact with Fighting Lion to make the enemy volatile and activate any Breach Loaded /GL artifact mods. Once volatile, you can rinse and repeat.

@@Newby1 No, they don't. They just don't have Kinetic Primary weapon spawn rates, which is the difference. It's Kinetic Primary weapons that have the extended ammo drop rate boost because back when it was implemented, there were less elemental "verbs" and interactions that allowed you do forgo using weapons for the most part. This was updated and iterated on a few times. Initially it was all exotic primary weapons generated ammo at an increased rate, then they added a subtext to finder mods where Exotic Kinetic weapons would do more, and ever since they delineated Stasis from Kinetic with the implementation of Strand because of the damage change shift (which was the whole Kinetics doing more precision damage thing that got changed). Alethonym intrinsically has less ammo generation because it has ammo "finder" built in to the gun itself and won't double proc itself as an exploitation feature... AND to top it all off, there was an update a few months ago where ammo generation rates ON TOP of ammo finder meter costs were increased by 25% when in a fireteam (because of the integration of ammo scout mods, and scaling of fireteams meaning you can have multiple players running it). These were all rate reduced because of the implementation of things like the reworks of the Aeon exotics, ammo generation armor mods/seasonal mods, and Cenotaph Mask. We have never really been spoiled for ammo as much as we have now... and now, we have less of a need for it with so many interactions, Prismatic, and the super changes this week. I also assume this is why we are getting a special ammo/heavy ammo stat on our armor sets come Apollo, because they want to make everything much clearer rather than giving nebulous descriptions that don't accurately reflect rate changes.

Been doing this same thing with Rake Angle paired with Ice Breaker. Might be the one time I've actually enjoyed a double special setup that didn't feel clunky lol. Love that we have a Rocket side arm option to pair with one of my most fun Hunter builds I've played with since maybe Gyrfalcon first came out.

Just getting Air Trigger and Chill Clip together has been a grind. Over 70 IB matches, getting close to 100 engrams and not a single drop with those perks together. I never play pvp, this is the first time in a long time playing pvp. I'm seeing this as punishment for not playing pvp ;(

I like your suggestions for wormhusk and assassin's cowl better than fealty, as stasis generally lacks healing. However, while wormhusk has a special place in my heart, the obvious winner is assassin's cowl: - gives more HP on melee kill, compared to dodge - you get two shurikens to kill, compared to one dodge - it also makes you invisible

I've got the god roll with High Explosive Ordnance or Tac Mag and I'm going to be running Tac Mag. Tac gives you 14 in the mag vs 12 for HEO (with backup mod). The interesting thing is that Tac gives you 52 reserves vs 55 for HEO (or 55 vs 57 with a reserve mod). So Tac gives you 2 more in the mag at the cost of 3 total reserves, plus it has 10 more reload speed. So, IMO, Tac is the way. (Great video btw.)

if you run buried blood line you can get your granade back with devour, and if you use the grande that crates a stasis wall (higher DPS), which can be a life saver when you dont have health, use wall as cover, the worlock main will always recommend devour .

you don’t really need tina for the ability spam to work, anything with chill clip/headstone works almost just as well, it’s just that the rocket sidearms have high uptime. Mask of feality and winters shroud does all of this on its own

If there is no barrier champs, ice breaker is a really run pairing. Sense everything is either slowed frozen or near a crystal, ice breaker is just an on demand ignition maker.

Is it worth it to run chains and chill for fragments? It seems a bit overkill in most cases when shards are shared across the fireteam. Also with the fealty play style you can get similar reloads from whisper of impetus to facet of command if that suits you.

Do you really need whisper of chains and chill? Chill has a cd on when you can get a shard, whereas chains doesn't and it being easier to proc. I was thinking of using shards to generate a ton of grenade energy since I should have 100% uptime on that regen and using coldsnap for instant freezes

Would 100% recommend shards. I use glacier grenade instead to keep the regen on 100%, get shuriken bursts and increased damage.

Her build isn't optimized in the slightest. Not only do you not need Chill, Hunger isn't needed either because not only do you have two melee charges to work with out of the gate, your dodge will recharge them on demand (and have its own cooldown sped up when anything is slowed), and you generate so many shards baseline that you'll have more than enough to keep things rolling. Many of her builds suffer from this problem. She seems to slap on whatever she thinks will be synergistic, run it a couple times to make sure it works, then posts a video about it. It's best to use her idea as a starting point and trim out the "win more" aspects to build a stronger, more rounded build.

I think it’d be better to run anything besides wormhusk. You can essentially turn any orb making build into wormhusk by putting the recuperation mod on ur boots and powerful attraction on your cloak.

Before Tina, I was doing this same thing(ish) with the Bombardiers and a Cryostesia. For trash and trash+ just get close, dodge 1x to slow/freeze/explode them, then shurikin when they're far. Cryo the bigger ones. Profit.

I had one with high explosive rounds and air trigger along with chill clip, but it had the worst possible velocity and I have had about four or five more with air trigger and chill clip drop that have bigger mags and better velocity. Like, the velocity was bad enough that it was getting me killed in lost sectors lol. I've been very lucky to have such great rng on my rolls that I could actually make a choice based on preference rather than having to just take the first one I got and live with it.

I have a deconstruct chill clip Tinasha’s and it’s amazing. With prismatic I can stun all three champion types and with facet of command and facet of awakening make it so you’re constantly spitting out stasis shards for yourself for DR and can run tether for the overshield and stack them facet of purpose. With Dimentional Hypertrocoid and enhanced Tinasha’s both having the synergy mod it’s my loop to use special finisher in my class item paired with elemental charge in my boots three heavy handed mods in gloves(love seasonal discounts) and at least one hands on mod in your Mask of Fealty,preferably two and a stasis siphon, gamblers dodge to get a shuriken back and the seasonal mod that gives glass ability energy on stasis shard pickup. You lose out on a dps super and can’t use the build in Vespers Host but if you’re playing as part of a team “unkillable frost armour/void overshield that’s spits orbs like OG rappers spit rhymes” is a fun place to be. Leaves Red Death in the table as an exotic primary that heals for even more durability.(always have at least 1 recuperation on boots unless playing devour warlock in which case you go with grenade recharge in that slot.if you want more abilities and orbs you run absolution as your third boot slot and if you want more dps you go with a surge mod. If you use the “melee hits make you radiant” facet you can have a Tinasha’s Mastery that stuns all three champion types in PvE content and makes the ammunition you lose not having air trigger as relevant. Class item setup is usually distribution, special finisher(outside of crucible), reaper then enter flow state like Moonknight where I just yell “random BS go!!!” Hitting every finisher I can because I hit three charges very easily. My next tip if for those who like to get up close and personal Rimesteel+Chain Reaction on a SLAMMER with synergy mods go hard enough to guitar you if you try it in Incision🤣
