Chuuya refer to dazai using 'omae', which is a usual thing to say. But dazai refers chuuya as 'kimi'. Hahaha... Lol. Maybe because Chuuya is pretty small. Boys refers to girls as 'kimi'. Seniors sometimes refer to their juniors 'kimi' as well. I dunno the use of kimi has quite an endearing connotation. 😆😆😆

The moment when Dazai says "How beautiful" actually seems to have some other meaning with "nakasete" as "make cry" and "kureru", used when one gives you something. It's like he is telling Chuuya that his belief in Dazai is moving him to tears. That feeling is a way deeper as for me. Maybe I'm mistaken here, I don't know much of Japanese, so please correct me if so.

He is saying that to express that this is a deeply emotional moment and 'beautiful' is the perfect word to use in such a situation, because it implies both amazement (maybe to me impressed is a better word?) and endearment, while "You're going to make me cry." can be seen as more sarcastic in such context. I disagree with you about Atsushi and Aktagawa i will say i do ship them, but even as just partners they are similar to skk. The way Aku had to trust Atsu with his coat ability in the cannibalism ark. The way then figured things out together, Aku made a promise to Atsu not to kill so that they could fight. And don't even get me started on chapter 88. It has been confirmed that they are literally yin and yang the dragon and the tiger (pluss thier hair Aku has a tad of white and Atsu had a streak of black) even if you don't see it as a ship they are great partners and honesty have gone through a lot of development through the series
