I put white viniger in the pot and leave it over night seems to do the trick.

To clean the coffee pot with burned in coffee put ice cubes in the pot, no water, just ice cubes and swirl them around in the pot. Like magic it cleans. Make sure the pot is not hot when you put the ice in.

did you try using bleach as a cleaner? when my pot get's stained, i put a small amount of bleach with hot water and dishwashing soap, filling it all the way to the top, and let it sit for a while, comes sparkling clean. i'm thinking that cleaner has some bleach in it. does the bottle have a list of ingredients? if not, it might just be regular bleach and that's why they won't list the ingredients, therefore keeping their customer base, otherwise people wouldn't buy it and just use bleach, then again, it could be a special cleaner, dunno, just guessing. thanks.

@@JustADad the only thing i have noticed about using bleach is it can degrade rubber parts as in o rings or washers, etc., if used with a higher content of bleach to water ratio, so, you can use it, just take it ez with it, take off whatever rubber parts you can get to before bleaching, then you can go a lil higher with the bleach ratio really kill all germs, funk, and grime. i actually run it through the coffe maker as a brew cycle sometimes, then dump it when done, run another brew cycle with water only to get any leftover out, then brew coffee on the third brew. i'm not sure how the other cleaners work if they degrade rubber parts over time, not familiar with the toxicity strength of the ingredients and what they are, could be the same as bleach, or not. thanks.

There is a switch around the back make sure it is on and the machine has to be full of water also.
