BUNRAKU - PUPPET THEATER OF JAPAN
Bunraku (文楽) is the traditional puppet theater of Japan. It started of as popular entertainment for the commoners during the Edo Period (1603-1868) in Osaka and evolved into artistic theater during the late 17th century. Along with noh and kabuki, it is recognized as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.

@@MastersMagazine Thank you for the quick answer! Ok, I will nontheless use it for my exam because the material is unvaluable, thank you for uploading it to youtube! The old, simpler style of dolls still being present in more secluded villages on the countryside really are reminiscent of the dolls visible in imagery from early Tokugawa period. I am studying the development of the doll in relation to the handler(s) and this material is so very interesting.
