Buoy 10 salmon fishing! It's August, which means the super bowl of salmon fishing in Astoria, Oregon is here. I brought some fishing friends with me, of which 3 guys in the boat had never caught a salmon before. So we headed out for some buoy 10 chinook fishing with Cody Herman of Day One Outdoors, chasing both chinook salmon, but the potential for a coho salmon as well. The day started out slow, we got a small fist on the 3rd pass, then we found the hot spot, and the rods started to fall out, and the fishing shenanigans started as well....
