I worked at Burger King years ago, but they still precook food and keep it in a heating unit that has timers. If a product is dry, the employees are resetting the timers and not throwing the food out when they start flashing as they are supposed to. I saw this done most often on night shift, when the GM isn't there.

I've noticed that the "chicken fries" have developed an especial new repugnance akin to strips of bike tire rubber with breading on them. They do not inspire great confidence that they are intended for human consumption. When they first came out with them, they were at least slightly less unnatural. High praise considering how they are now.

Back in the 2000s the chicken fries and their dollar minute spicy chicken sandwiches were so good! Maybe i just enjoyed that type of food more when i was younger but i always remember enjoying their food then.

had this whopper yesterday and quite enjoyed it. fairly mild, but the spice was consistent throughout. no big build up, no dull bite and sudden bite of hotness. akin to a normal green chile burger, would buy again.

Had one today and regretted it. Half way through I wanted to throw it away but with the price I paid I choked it down. It had no heat and tasted flat. It needs fresh jalapenos for a brightness but corporate uses frozen breaded jalapenos to save a buck. The angry whopper was far superior with more heat and better flavor

Ok so after this review I did buy it and it was absolutely delicious. I have a very high spicy tolerance and this sandwich obviously doesn’t come close to that but for the normal consumer it will definitely give you a kick. It’s delicious, and there is a combo for 20 bucks that gives you 2 sandwitches and a medium fry as well as a 12 piece ghost pepper chicken fries and it’s all delicious. Great review man and whoever doubts trust me when I say this is delicious

I've eaten "Ghost pepper" items from a good number of places and to me it never SEEMS like an actual Ghost Pepper is used. It always seems like "serrano peppers" at best. Hotter than Jalapeno for sure but never anywhere near as hot as an actual Ghost Pepper (which would peel many peoples heads back). There is a Market district "Get Go" gas station near my house (that has a diner in it) that releases a Ghost pepper burger (that uses real Ghost pepperjack cheese) occasionally, and it's actually legit. One bite will light you up. I love Serrano pepper up to Habanero levels of heat, Ghost pepper is a bit too hot (as it jumps from pepper-flavor, to just heat with no taste). That sandwich seems to have legit ghost peppers.

Happy FT13 to you, RB. I just tried these both last night. The GPW goes for 6.99 up North. For about an extra buck, I ordered the Whopper w/extra GP cheese, spicy queso, & bacon. It was glorious. Finally, a fast food item that mostly lives up to the "ghost pepper" labeling. The GP fries were fairly spicy as well, but a letdown w/quality. Mostly dried out breading that's tough to eat. Go w/the BK Zesty sauce if you want the extra heat. Overall, not a bad burn for your buck! Take care, and God bless you, RB!

$7.49 for the Ghost Pepper Whopper here in northern Vermont. $3.59 for 8 piece Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries, $4.99 for 12 piece. I bought a 12 piece and it was horrible. Just like Reviewbrah said, dry, dry, dry. I fed the remaining 11 of them to my flock of chickens. (Chickens do not have working receptors for spicy food, so they can eat hot peppers and other plants containing capsaicin without being bothered by the "hot".)

Chicken strips/ nuggets at fast food restaurants have reached an all-time low in quality over the last 2-3 years. Across the board, they barely ressemble chicken meat and make hot dogs look like filet mignon. Actually, I think the overall quality of fast food has gone down drastically, while at the same time substantially increasing in price.

I always get a chuckle every time something advertises as "restaurant quality". Having worked in various restaurants from fast food to 2 star dining, I can assure you they are buying the cheapest ingredients possible. The higher end will buy decent meats but the rest is whatever is cheapest.

i ate this yesterday after not having bk in years and i was surprised it was really good. i dont even like bacon jalapenos or cheese and immediately regretted getting the burger because i didnt know that was on it but overall quality was hot and fresh. i guess its because people dont go to bk as often so the food can be prepared properly.
