For the past 15-years, I've been approached to be a part of various shows, but the vision I have for my own show is different than the crime shows I'm usually pitched. I want to help the families of victims to move through their grief so they can begin healing. I want my audience to see the transformation that occurs when the living makes contact with their deceased loved one. I made my vision a reality.
Without any prior knowledge, I bring through their loved ones from the other side to uncover the truth about what happened. This will dig up the living's Buried Emotions.
In this episode, Shannon, a wife and mother from Massachusetts reached out to Allison to connect with her younger brother. Shannon and her brother were best friends. Allison helps bring peace and knowledge that her brother, Eric, is still in her life and that her family is his heaven.

As a person who attempted suicide two times, I would like to say it is not a selfish act. It is an action that you take in the spur of a moment ( even if you have had suicidal ideation) when you are in complete depression and despair and you can’t see any other way to end the pain. It is an act some may take believing they are a burden to others and do not want to bring their family and friends down with them. It is an act one takes when they are not completely of sound mind and can not imagine or fathom the pain and suffering they will create for those who live on. This in no way defines their lives prior to this moment. In my case I did suffer childhood trauma but I experienced much happiness, love, joy and accomplishments. What people suffering depression need is love and support when they are going through tough times. They need examples of people like me who have lived through the experience and can credibly say that moments of despair are temporary and life can get better. They need the education and resources to modify their lifestyles and know what to do to ‘get through’ the dark times. Most of all they need HOPE. i hope this helps families of loved ones who took their lives. They loved you and would never have wanted to hurt you, if they weren’t feeling pain and hurt themselves.

I'm so sorry you have been there to feel that pain but I am so happy you survived your attempts. I lost my brother in law, someone so precious to me, to suicide. It's been 8 and a half years now and I still feel like it was yesterday. Time does not heal all wounds, you just learn to live without that person in your life. And learn to live your life the best way you can. It's true when they say that the pain is just passed on to the one who love you. His suicide actually tore our family apart. It shattered everyone so badly that everybody started blaming each other for his death! When ultimately, no-one was to blame but him himself. At first, I did believe it was selfish. How could he? Why would he? Etc etc. But after a few years of dealing with the anger, it passes and then you can see that yes, he thoroughly believed he was a burden and thought his family would be better without him. geeee...wasnt he wrong.!! Thank you for sharing your story. And again, I'm so happy you are still here to tell that story. You WILL save some people's lives with your story! Xx

@@tygersflowerz In my case I was not fooling around. I was simply trying to end my pain. I had not even planned to take pills at that moment. It was a reaction to not be able to report to work, even though I was working from home. This was not the first time I could not get to work. I was struggling to progressively return to work after more than 2 years of long term medical leave for depression and anxiety. My ego was so tied ip in my work. I felt like a failure and at that miment I lost hope that I would ever be able to recover and work again. I know now that I was not of sound mind when this happened. I was in a time capsule bubble and no thought of anything, including the effect it would have on my daughter and family. I do now and that is key to choosing to live, even when I go down the rabbit hole. I know the depression is temporary and I will feel better again.

I'm seven out of eight kids. I lost four brothers and I just lost my sister who lived in Rehoboth Massachusetts. All forr a different reason. Our youngest brother died from suicide at age 36. He too was the life of the party the one everyone wanted to be around. Depression is a serious issue because it can be right under your nose. Peace and love to this family✌💜🙏

I also found it amazing that Allison says a comfort word regarding our loved ones; She said in a way we can Resurrect Them, whenever we take out their pictures, and think of them, They are there with us. When Eric said ok Sis it’s just you and Me, My Mother used to say that to me. She was all I had. She and I were very close, and I’m struggling. I’ve lost a lot of family, including my Sister. My Mother I feel, is near. I also feel she knows I’m in terrible pain. I am alone, have been alone since she passed so I understand this Woman’s Grief. I just wanted to say it was special Allison told her to take out her brothers picture, and it’s like a phone call to Heaven. Rest In Peace Eric. I’m still in tears.

My brother had the exact same experience, as you. My sister in law hung herself also and he is the one that found her. He told me that it is something you can never un-see. That's how he describes it. He believes, with all of his heart, that it is not a matter of not wanting to live anymore. It truly is a matter of just not being able to any longer. He calls depression the devil's favorite weapon to use against a troubled person. We have gone to a group called Griefshare and it is an extremely healing experience. I recommend it highly. I understand your loss and pain.

I hope Shannon is finding comfort from this. If Eric knew that he would be transferring his pain to all of his loved ones, he wouldn’t have done it. He wasn’t able to consider the negative ramifications. Suicide is rarely how we are taught to look for it, not many people leave notes or show signs, it is often an impulse. Gratefully he is at peace, and all of the negativity is gone, I pray for everyone that loved him.

I feel the hell from taking our own life is how we then see how it affects our loved ones. Afterlife is amazing but imagine seeing those we love in such pain. It took me yrs to get my name off the records of a religion that taught souls lost to suicide go to hell. I strongly Disagree with any writings Or teachings of that! The hell is before one takes their life!
@valerief1231
@valerief1231 3 жыл бұрын
@@dejacavu6259 I agree with your statement. I’m Christian but I’m not part of an organized church that spends much of their time teaching hate and intolerance. Not that you asked, but due to the subject I think it’s worth sharing. We know that God is Love. Without God there is no love. We know that over the centuries the Bible has been edited, added too, removed from etc. I am confident in what I’m about to say, because I had a spiritual experience while talking with a coworker that is gay. He said something like “I’m going to hell anyway, I was taught my whole life as a Southern Baptist that God hates homosexuals” and literally out of nowhere I was boldly telling him, “you are worshiping the wrong God, my God IS LOVE and HE loves you, just talk to him and it will be revealed to you, behave as if you are meeting him for the first time” he and I both knew there was power in what I was saying. It went on for about 10-12 minutes and the only other part I remember was “you were created in my image, you are part of me, hell is not for humans, hell is for demons” Now I used to subscribe to the doctrine of certain acts or behaviors would send a person straight to hell. (Not that I don’t wonder sometimes if we aren’t really in hell and we get to ascend eventually lol) I’ve never thought much about demons, ghosts, angels etc. so for me, this experience left me full of hope and joy. My personal opinion is that showing grace to others while we are here, being kind, and grateful is really what we are here to do. Have you ever gone either a wee bit out of your way to be nice to someone, say, hold the door for them and let them go ahead of you, or had that deep burning desire to help KNOWING you will facilitate the best outcome? Right now, think about how YOU felt while doing it and afterwards. You felt good, I know I do. My husband requires forearm crutches to walk, and it looks like A LOT is going on. When we started dating, I noticed that someone would hold the door and he would try to quickly walk thru and often times he didn’t acknowledge them. So me being me, after noticing this 3-4 times I asked him why he didn’t thank them. He said “I did!” Well buddy, you didn’t. In his effort to get out of the way quickly he thought it but wasn’t actually saying it. So he got so much better about it, then I noticed if someone offered to help him with something he would always turn them down. Now this I kind of got because I was really getting to know him, it was ego, he is after all a very intelligent, college educated man with pride right. So we had a sweet talk about “blocking people’s blessings” idk where it came from, but God wanted him to know that he is teaching us humanity and kindness, and grace, and when he gives a person the impulse to help, if it’s appropriate, let them help. The beauty we see every time we are out is such a gift. When we see a little boy jump up to open a door, and he had this look of satisfaction on his little face, we are both almost moved to tears, it’s absolutely beautiful to see someone that looks as if they’re hard core, or mean, offer to help him put his groceries in his car, from the store scooter. Anyway. Kindness and grace… it’s so much better the skepticism and judgment, or hate. Sorry that was so long, I hope I fixed all the typos I’m on my mobile phone.

I actually like Allison & i hate to say it but all of her readings seem to be in generalizations & she repeats the same exact thing for each person..for example: the necklace that has their energy & take out the pics from xmas & the balloons to honor them...& they were with u when u was lookin at the old pics & how u were having a hard time when doin that. Thats all things that everybody i know does when they lose somebody. Also that the sister was the most important person in his life when he had a mom & a wife.

I had thoughts of killing my father but then thought of the financial burden it would place on my mother. I almost accomplished it but my sister got there in time so I was rushed to the er.

I truly hope the real Alison Dubois is not as selfish as the one in the TV series medium is. She comes across a horrible selfish person that puts her abilities before her family. Joe in the TV series comes across as a saint.

This current 3rd dimension is so hard for evolved sensitive souls to be. If you are a empath , Feeling these discordant energies are torture.

I want to believe this is real but the details in these mediums readings are always so vague and strangely similar.

Yes, I agree-she repeats the same general phrases: "He say's you were two peas in a pod" " Is there some engraved jewelry? "He say's to look at his pictures"... I do believe there are and were legitimate mediums in this world, but they are far and few between.

That's because human behaviour is similar, we all do a lot of the same sh*t, ppl generally memorialise the dead in generic ways too eg tattoos, balloons etc. Mediums have to interpret info from the deceased based on images/scenes/sounds they are shown, think about how difficult that would be. Eg if a living person tells you a story and you try and retell it you won't necessarily get all the details 100 accurate, now imagine how hard it would be with someone not physically here.
