I hate it when movies don’t bother to write an ending. I’m fine with a mysterious/sad/unresolved ending, but it needs to conclude the plot arc, not just *stop*.

This is exactly why recaps are fun to watch; An interesting plot, theme, setting and /or story executed horribly. Normally I would have never 'seen' this movie but because of these recaps you still get to enjoy these ones.

Sudden, unexplained endings in movies? About as satisfying as a handshake with a fish

When exes been put together into a space program you have to realize it's not being run by professionals but someone who want's drama 😁

If they're trying to simulate an actual launch with actual astronauts they would've never put two ppl with a past relationship. That's just obvious. They would've never put someone who is affected by a break up. They are very selective ; any character flaw of psychological weakness is teased out. No one is perfect, after all.

I hate movies who leave an open vague ending. It feels like the writers were lazy or couldn’t make up an ending and purposefully added more confusion. I do like mystery but not where we might never get an answer

All they need to do is add heat wave and firestorm and they have the crew of legends of tomorrow

"He would have been discharged if it wasnt too late to find a replacement". IIRC NASA usually has a few (possibly an entire team) ready to go as a replacement. In fact, the replacements usually train with the main crew just to make sure they work well together.

I saw this movie years ago on Netflix. It pissed me off with the lack of ending. But they got Brandon Routh and Dane Cook.

Reminds me of Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV series such as "Lost", which are rarely written serially, since they want to keep getting renewed. These writers never had a clue what they were writing about, they just made it up as they went along. When it's a finite film, there's no excuse for this crap.
