I hope you guys never take having so many places to metal detect for WW2 memorabilia for granted. I've always been really into learning about the history of anything WW2 related. Getting a signal on your detector when you are standing in an obvious WW2 foxhole must truly get your heart racing and gives you a high no drug could give you.

Hi guys the New Zealand air force, had pilots serving in Britain during the battle of Britain. I'm sure there would still have been pilots serving later on. Australian pilots also served. The initials for NZ were RNZAF and for Australia is RAAF. The fist R is for Royal. Nice video as always. F

15:00 the NZ button probably came from the uniform of NZ POW aircrew, of who many served in the RAF. If there is no other RAF items dumped there then you might be able to find out if any RAF raids hit that airfield and if any NZ crew were shot down there - it may be their's.

What you found here on 9:48 on the right side is actually a nob to finetune the frequency of the radio called „FuG16zy“ The nop and the panel itself came along with a big variety of different shapes and was used in all kind of German aircrafts sonot necessarily a Bf-109. this particular panel-shap does not fit to the one of the Bf-109 (unless you found further evidence of course) :) Greetings

The white piece that had 15 6 44 on it could potentially be a date for June 15, 1944?. Maybe it was a tag for a part on an aircraft that was to indicate when it was last serviced?
