I hope whoever renovates this convent again in a few hundred years appreciates all the work you're putting into renovating it now! The tiles look amazing. We have all been watching history being laid, for the last few weeks. I hope these tiles will last many hundreds of years and will look beautiful every day. You may have an aching back Billy, but your work is outstanding. I absolutely love it. As for the nun's drinking habits, well there is nothing to stop them imbibing a few!! I should imagine they will have used fruits from the orchard. Cider, cherry brandy, eau de vie, peach schnapps type, calvados. Anything to warm up in the deep of winter. One or two more days Billy. Billy, your tiling reminds me of how a jigsaw puzzle goes together, I've enjoyed every one of these floor tiling videos. You've shown me how if you keep at it and you're patient with yourself you can achieve a gorgeous, monstrous tiled floor.

At the end when you said that you are tired. The fact that you still had to drive home, after doing a walkthrough of the covent, as you were locking up for the night. Then you not only was going to be able to get cleaned up, you know, the three S’s, but you also still had to get the computer up and running, with everything uploaded in it. Then you still had to edit this very exact video, we just got done watching. Then upload it, where we all could watch it. I just realized something. You, Billy, have basically, two jobs. That’s how you can tell that someone has heart. He doesn’t short change, what he does. Billy, if you read this. Make sure that you go through and take short breaks throughout the day, and make sure that you take a vacation once or twice a year. Don’t vlog or anything like you usually do throughout the year. You should be clearing your mind, and relaxing your body. Just as a professional taste tester has a drink to cleanse the pallet from the drink which they are comparing. You should also be cleansing yourself from what you do through the rest of the time. You don’t want to burn yourself out, or loose your focus, not only with your mind, but with your heart also. Sort for the mini novel. Hopefully it helps. I feel you, even if it is in my mind.

I love puzzles, though that’s quite a bit of work cutting your own pieces! Just stunning, Billy. Enjoy the finishing of it! Lovely to see your Dad and Yannis. It will be great to see the garden progress. The Sisters, by the way could very likely make use of spirits for medicinal purposes. I know of cognac, whiskey and such being used as part of cold and flu remedies. Feast day celebrations would also not be out of the question. Billy, you are so close to getting the kitchen floor finished. It is looking wonderful. I had a thought for all the extra pieces of cut tile. You (and the kids) could make some large square or rectangular planter boxes, and add tile pieces to decorate the sides. My Grandparents did this project with us (the granddaughters) when we were growing up. My father helped build the boxes (we planted flowers in some, and trees in the larger ones) and we used old pallets. The extra tile pieces, broken plates my Grandmother had, and other tidbits she saved, were put on the cement mix that covered the outside of the boxes, and they were placed randomly in whatever design we wanted. I would hate to see all your extra tile pieces thrown away, but this sort of project would be pretty basic and straightforward, and lots of fun. Just a thought.

Hello Billy This type of terracotta bottle, simply filled with hot or hot water, was also used as a hot water bottle for sick beds. Very likely here ( and even if it drops your alcoholics dreams on this gorgeous rug made of such beautiful tiles !), because in a convent, the nuns were often dedicated to the care of the sicks in health facilities and hospitals.
