I cannot believe the amount of plastic , concrete , rubber and non metal garbage that recycling center takes and you are paid for ? There's are a lot of things that could be fixed by other people who could also make a little bit of money , as well as help people who can't afford to pay full price for new products .

I live in South Africa. We watch your channel as a family and we can't believe that people throw away stuff like the things we see in your posts. Out here we do everything we can to fix our stuff and if we don't want it anymore then we sell it. I would have a thriving second hand shop with the things that get thrown into the garbage. God bless, we enjoy it immensely.

Greetings from the USA. I grew up learning from my late parents the value of taking care of what you have and not throwing much away unless it couldn't be fixed. Even if it couldn't be fixed, you kept the parts as a back up! My parents grew up in the Depression. They learned to not throw anything away. They taught me to conserve and reuse or repurpose before getting rid of something. Sadly we live in a disposable society. I once heard a United Methodist Bishop from your country speak at a conference here years ago. He said that he had forgotten his toothbrush and toothpaste and was taken by his host to the store to get a them. When he walked in, he was overwhelmed by it's size and the volume of material items it had. He told us that we where he was from, you walked into a store and maybe you might have one or two choices of toothpaste and tooth brushes to pick from, but here in the American store you have whole isles dedicated to just dental care! I have never forgotten his talk. We sadly take it for granted things are available at any given time. Our country is spoiled in that.

Paul, as a former dialysis patient, with limited water intake, I found pickle juice as a helpful tool to combat my nightly cramps. For the cramps on the soles of your feet, stand in front of a wall, press your toes against the baseboard. So that your toes are flex upward creating a stretch of the sole of your foot. That would help me survive those awful, jump out of bed, night cramps. Of course drink plenty of water when you can. Thanks for the ride along! Enjoy as always, hugs for Olivia. Have a great weekend Paul.
@NorthFlPicker Жыл бұрын
I’ve heard that dill pickle juice helps with cramps. I always try to eat at least one banana a day for the potassium and a sip or two of pickle juice before bed. I also started drinking body armor sport drinks, they are made with coconut milk and have a ton of vitamins and minerals in them. And you can’t taste the coconut for anyone who doesn’t like it.
