Hi Scrapitall GREAT videos mate. I particularly like the detail you go in to. It must take you a ton of time to put such quality videos together. It is not unnoticed and greatly appreciated. I rate you highly amongst the scrap KZbin community. Your videos are so well done they are more quality tutorials than just a bit of fun scrapping. When I saw this video go up as 1hr I thought 'One Whole Hour!!! I'm lovin it!!!'. Being a scrapper it is important to have the right tools. Just a polite suggestion if you could add the tools you use in the description I know it is more work for you but I think it would add even more value to your channel. Approximately 3.5 pounds of number 2 copper and an unexpected bonus of 1.5 pounds of number 1 wire because the Shellac disintegrated on the thick transformer wire. Awesome 100🎉 episode brother. An air hammer set contains a rivet removing tool. Even if you have no compressor you can still use a hammer. When you transfer video files to the pc if you do not click on your saved files to deselect them they will get deleted when you empty your camera storage. (usually straight after transfers). What awesome boards them rom chips if they have gold feet they are 1% gold by weight. Worth saving. Well brother catch up with you in the next episode stay safe

Not sure if you do eBay or not....but the last two of the SK-406 glass covers sold for $89.50 & $71.60, both with $8.60 shipping. Well worth the time and trouble in my book! I have sold many tubes over the years. Some sell very well, others not so much. But the large ones seemed to do OK tested or not. That kind of stuff is getting hard to find! Love the video!! Congrats on making it to 100. We all look forward to seeing you hit 1000 videos. Keep up the great work.

Cancer Sucks. Congrats on the 100 videos! IMHO, you're doing very well! I guess I need to evaluate my channel as I have over 900 videos.... Hope you didn't have the CRT containing units plugged in recently for testing, as that potentially could have left a high voltage charge in the units' flyback transformers. In CRTs there is phosphorus (containing Cadmium), mercury (sometimes), lead and has barium & strontium in the glass. There were some cool bits in/on that medical unit that I'd have stashed away for my steampunk sculptures...something I always struggled with when I was scrapping...saving too much, especially interesting little brass and copper pieces. I'd look up the vacuum tubes by model number via Google and eBay, and eBay or one of the vintage electronics groups on Facebook might be the ticket. They need to be packed extra well for shipping, though...the buyer can counsel you on how to pack them.

@@bearhardcorepicker yes it does, especially when it attacks a child 😢 You have good and interesting content. It can be hard to know what the people really want. I watch Vidiq channel and they have lots of help with setting up channels, uploading properly and all the settings. Maybe check them out. Everything had been unplugged for quite some time. Thank you for the concern. I am saving a few pieces from that last thing I scrapped. Definitely some steampunk vibes going on. Thank you for the advice on the tubes. @ ok cool. Think Media is another one I watch. There’s a setting on the first screen when uploading, way down. Category, I have my selected to education and how to. Make sure you have that set to whichever one suits you best. It’ll help KZbin know who to put your videos in front of. Also try new thumbnail style and titles. You can look at other antique channels and see what’s working for them. You might already know this, but I wanted to be sure. Feel free to email me any questions you might have. I have been looking at some of the boards you are grading for them and couldn’t help wondering why you didn’t pull those ic chips with the gold windows as well as any gold band crystal oscillators, gold pins high quality etc. there is a great market for gold items on eBay and yes your May degrade your boards but it’s something you may want to 🎉consider.
