Burien teenager 'executed' sleeping passenger on King County Metro bus, documents say

A Burien teenager has been charged in adult court with first-degree murder for allegedly killing a passenger who was asleep on a King County Metro bus last month.
Detectives are still trying to find 17-year-old Miguel Rivera Dominguez, who prosecutors say fled the bus on October 3 after the "senseless execution of a total stranger."
A police report says there is video of Rivera Dominguez boarding the Metro bus in Burien while wearing a full ski mask and sitting towards the back for 12 minutes before pulling out a handgun and shooting the victim, 21-year-old Marcel Wagner.
Rivera Dominguez remains at large as of Thursday morning, according to King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. Prosecutors have requested a bail of $3 million when he is captured.

I was born in Burien Washington and lived there for the first 30 years of my life. I’ve been back recently for the first time in 20 years, and I didn’t recognize the city or surrounding areas. There are people walking/stumbling around, clearly on drugs or something else, all over the place. It was very sad. Burien is so close to Seattle, literally connects right to south Seattle, and all those issues that have been plaguing Seattle have spread right into Burien.

I was a city bus driver in Minneapolis for 11 years (1996-2007) and I was terrified of this sort of thing. There were some bloody fights on my bus, I’ve been spat on more than once, I had a guy punch me in the shoulder, and I was threatened literally countless times. Life has gotten so much worse in the past 15 years, I was considering going back to driving a bus where I live now because it’s a good steady union job, but I live in New Orleans now, and I don’t think it’s really a safe choice.

There was a case in I believe Canada years ago where a man was beheaded on a bus and his face was eaten and they didn’t even keep the guy who did it in prison. He’s out free right now. His name was Vince Li now changed to Will Baker. He was in a mental health center for only 3 years before he was allowed to just walk free back into society after stabbing, beheading, and eating a man (a man he didn’t know). Hopefully this one actually gets a punishment instead of saying “God made me do it. 😔” and getting out after a couple years.
