Great video! Do you have a preference between the rack or frame mount? Does one provide a more comfortable ride over the other?

For comfort level, we prefer the frame-mounted and the suspension bars do help to lessen the bumps on the road. When given the choice, frame-mounted is our preference. For most users, however, which seat to get depends on whether your bike is compatible with a frame or rack-mounted seat.

Thanks for the review, we recently purchased the rack mount but we are having trouble finding the best rack to use. Do you have one you recommend?

We use an Axiom rack.

@@Twowheelingtotsbikes Great, thank you. I ended up ordering the rack for the Topeak baby seat ii non-disc. I don't know why the Axium racks didn't pop up on Google when I did the search because that looks like a better rack for the money.

I had the same question- just got the Dash based on your excellent review(s). Will look into Axiom. I am also interested in bikepacking with our baby so will see if there are any that are heavy duty and support panniers as well.

Hello, would you recommend the Burley Dash over Topeak? thank you

I prefer the Dash overall, but the Topeak is much better for taller kids.

Hi there, Your posts are very informative and resourceful. Thank you for posting them. I am looking to buy bikes that could be comfortable to me and my toddlers. I was wondering about the bikes that the adults are using in this videos. Would you be able to share some information about it? I think a video about the bikes that you use may be very useful to someone like me (a new parent). Thank you again!

Is the 20 degree tilt needed?

If your child will be sleeping while you ride, the recline is very helpful! If not sleeping, not necessary.

How tall are your kids? My almost 4 year old is 42 inches and I'm concerned about those after park naps she seldomly takes.

We max out our height recommendations for the Burley Dash at 41”, as the rear of the seat becomes a bit too short. For taller kids, we would recommend the Thule Yepp Nexxt 2 Maxi rear seat.

I would add a front basket if you want to carry that stuff and not wear a backpack. I also think it’s more secure to have the stuff in front of you so you can keep an eye on it and if you hit a big bump you can quickly check to see if it’s there. Good review.

We make sure not to stuff it full. Just keeps and phone usually in the bottom. Is there a front basket you use?
