Here would be some cool guitars I would love to see: -Closed terrarium guitar -Working Clock guitar -Guitar with colored liquids and/or Sand in it, like those fun toys/hourglasses. I just think it would look cool. -Guitar that just has some cool clockwork mechanism that just does stuff -Guitar with different segments that you can put snacks in and one for drinks, like a movie theatre guitar -Guitar that is made of chainmail or just chains in general (maybe even just an armor, based guitar) -Apocalypse/scrap guitar -Guitar with a screen in it that can be accessed wirelessly. -Guitar that is its own amp (it has the speakers on the body that can be used. hey man, i’m a very passionate fish and aquatic plant keeper, and when i saw this video i was totally expecting this to be absolutely disgusting filled with guppies and goldfish that can’t live inside that tank. thank you for not only doing a planted tank but also bringing the planted aquarium into more light, it was a very pleasant surprise and it turned out great. maybe stock it with a few ramshorn snails or something

Poor shrimp. It's almost funny how they all just got sucked up, though. Like they were fine and then all just wandered too close to the pump and that was it. Have you thought about adding any moss balls to the tank? Very nice aquarium, though! Glad you weren't tempted to color the resin. I thought when you were talking about the playability, you were joking, and then cut to you actually playing it full of water and plants and substrate! Commitment to the bit if I ever saw it! And it actually sounds good! Great job!

It's really cool! Perhaps you could make a plug for the top to reduce worries about spillage when you want to use it as a guitar. I'm sure it wouldn't detrimentally affect the plants for the reasonably short time you'd be playing it. Just a thought. You're so creative, you've probably already thought of that.

That was sick. We like cool aquarium stuff. Well done! Re-add the shrimp though. maybe like 10? they'll help you keep things clean, so long as the epoxy doesn't leach bad stuff. Cherry shrimp are typically easy to come by. They'd likely do less to the epoxy than an otto or pleco.

i am not sure what the song is; the riff reminded me of the chorus to "Big Girls Cry" by Sia but i don't think that's what it is since the ending doesn't quite seem to fit? it theoretically could be just a little snip of a fingerstyle rendition of that part of the song tho, i just can't be sure one way or other without more of the song or verification from Burls Art. like, if you search for "SIA - Big Girls Cry (guitar cover)" by Lexa on youtube, at about 45 seconds in, that's the part of the song i was reminded of.

Many years ago I stumbled upon a band called Brother and Sister and their website showed odd guitars one of them had built. One of them was what I think they called the Ant Farmitar. It was an acrylic body with some kind of algae-based gel in it where ants could live and tunnel without other food or water and the gel was said to be able to retain their tunnels even through playing. This build reminds me of that.

I must say for a beginner aquarist you did very well, better than I did when starting haha, also with shrimp they are extremely sensitive so you’d want to make sure the water temperature is okay and the pH which I know it’s a guitar and isn’t as easy but something like just adding warmer water when doing maintenance will work :). Also for the carpeting plant (monte carlo I believe?) it needs lots of light to spread so the monte carlo needs the light more than the stems. Sick video!

This is so sick! Never expected to see an aquarium guitar on your channel, let alone a planted one, let alone a Dutch style!!! As you started adding aqausoil and filter and co2 system, I couldn't believe what a cool project I was watching unfold. The ludwigia and rotala definitely grow quicker than the carpeting plants. A short video on the maintenance would be awesome if you ever have the time for it. Props not just for the guitar build, but for the awesome aquascape. Beautiful! Fyi, I believe it's better to use acrylic cement/glue then silicone for binding acrylic/plastics for aquariums. I think silicone can sometimes not bind to acrylic sometimes, I could be mistaken.

I would definitely recommend making your own tiny sponge filter👌🏻 I've made a sponge filter out of a ballpoint pen casing that could fit in a small vase that is about the same size as your guitar😁

random suggestion, when i was a kid i had these three little robot fish, they had a small cell battery in them or something in a little water tight housing, they swam around for like 2 days before the battery dies, i guess the idea was you turn them on/off when your showing them off, but they'd be perfecting in this tank, you could even lose the pump after the plants get to the height and root growth you want.
