I've never understood what the song was about until I started working on myself. I think Chester is singing about the cycle of being a fearful avoidant and the destruction we cause. Our pattern is a cycle of burning down a relationship when it gets to easy. We think something is wrong because we've always had to fight for love. RIP Chester 😢. When you realize that that's what is happening you're devastated 💔 ❤
