Oh goodness this brings back memories. It was around 2018 when I went to a gaming convention, it was called Quakecon. I’m from Texas and it was really close to where I lived, on top of that me and one of my friends were huge gamers and we still are now. Anyways when we got there it was like heaven, there was an entire 2 acres of computers as the eye could see. We went there last year but it was a huge upgrade compared to 2017. There was a giant statue of one of the new Doom Eternal Enemies and they were letting people try on an oculus so that they could play Robo recall there was Overwatch stuff and Wolfenstein stuff it was incredible. Anyways back to what I was saying, there was a sort of booth that were set up by Bethesda officials and they were letting people play test it. I waited in line for like half an hour and finally got to play it and when I saw how much violence there was, I immediately fell in love for it. I speedran the test and they were giving out a free toy that was for it (it looked like a miniboss that would be in the game when it released). It’s safe to say I still have it in my room to this day, I’m just not sure where it is now cause we moved shortly after lol. I miss Quakecon because I haven’t been since COVID hit America. Gonna go back after all this shit ends tho. Also I don’t thing anyone else can brag about the fact that they have a Doom eternal rocket launcher balloon lol.
