Burna is a hard person to interview because he doesn't enjoy interviews, and like he doesn't suffer foolish conversation gladly. Ebro gets that and rolls with him. He was way more prepared and informed than Charlamagne/Envy (Angie did a bit more of her homework at least). I appreciate Ebro for this.

@Boi Syndicated station means that the radio station is playing in multiple markets. So Hot 97 is in NYC. But, you can hear in LA, Miami, online, etc. They have licenses in the big US markets. So, by being on Hot 97, Burna Boy is really getting a chance to be heard. It's crazy right now that we can talk about a radio interview & be in different countries.

With this level of international exposure, he will continue to interview and needs to better express and represent himself. All African artists should dress to represent our continent, our fabrics are hot. Kudos to all that he has accomplished so far!

When you see his posts on instagram, he comes off like most artists. But, in person, he really doesn't say much. It takes a great interviewer, like #Ebro to ask the right questions to get a decent response from an introvert like Burna Boy. I wish home success.

Ebro you better speak that! African republics are still so young. All those that are asking my south south brother to lay his head down for the vultures and hyenas to feast on sorry, we learnt from Jonathan's fate and no one is repeating that error again. He still has to develop his base, even Fela's folk turned their back on him overtime. Let Burna grow abeg. Peace✌️

@Preye Yinkore what's happening? Who's Jonathan and what did he do? There seems to be a backstory to Burna's reticence in these interviews that fans like myself aren't understanding (apparently he said something that was twisted around?) Care to share? (This is a genuine query, I'm not trying to be snarky)

@@user-kpkxgtj one of the reasons Burna boy hasn't been heard of much like Wizkid and Davido, even though they are colleagues and started fairly at the same time, is cos some interviews he made in years past were blown out of proportion and he was black balled somewhat. He kept making his music and the rest is history. Repeating that same line of action is what the bloggers wish to create. Setting up social media against Burnaboy. When he said he is an African giant, they tried again to silence him. But his art delivered him from their plans. Burna has always had a mark on him. Those who wish to destroy him career wise are many. In my opinion, they can't fathom a minority tribal Nigerian making such headway in the entertainment industry. Jonathan was the former president of Nigeria who was from a minority southern tribe.
