Gorgeous restoration! Now I want to hear the story about the wings.

I had two 85 Mustang GTs. I bought the first one brand new off the showroom floor. Canyon red T-top car with 5-speed/3.08 gears, PW, PL and Fords premium sound system, no AC. I put 310,000 miles on that car in 7 years (work car). The second one I bought used with 50,000 miles on it and put another 200,000 miles on that one. Great reliable engines in those cars and very easy to mod and make quick. Which is why you pay good money for a low mileage non modified original Fox body 5.0.

Great video, I can feel for how long it takes to find parts for these cars, and he did it 25 years ago, its even harder now.

Agreed Chris. It really is challenging these days. I was recently chatting with someone on this very subject regarding Almost 4. Those parts were hard to find back then and expensive. They’re easily three or four times as expensive now (or more) IF you can even find them.

Super nice car, a lot of time and work involved there.

It was definitely a labor of love for it because the cost of parts and resto was more than what the car was worth 23 years ago.

It’s possible the Saleen documentation is inaccurate. You’re basing on the Ford build info I assume?
@foxchassis9 сағат бұрын
Yes, Ford documentation. I have the door tag, buck tag, and build sheet from the car.

I find new ways every day to prove to the world I’m not perfect. We were talking wheels prior to the video on the R cars.
