My issue is that she used the bachelor/bachelorette franchise for her own platform. I find it insulting that a person thinks an issue cannot be understood by a person unless they overkill it. also taking a past time like the Super Bowl, the bachelor/bachelorette franchise, where some really don’t wanna think about politics or religion or anything we just want to check out and be entertained for a brief escape, that’s not the place.😢

Your complaints about her are borderline incoherent. Dozens of people who go on the bachelor go on to be influencers, hosts, media personalities (jojo and Jordan, nick, Kaitlyn, Hannah b, etc) so why aren’t you complaining about them too? When it comes to Chris Harrison, no one held a gun to his head and made him say those things. He is a grown ass man and accountable for his own actions. All she was doing was HER JOB by interviewing him. Chris asked hard and uncomfortable questions all the time as host, so idk why we should feel bad when the roles are reversed. Finally, politics and RACE are just a part of life. If you’re able to bury your head in the sand, that’s a luxury you have that others don’t. Sorry that you want people of color and other marginalized people to shut up so you can enjoy your stupid shows in peace, but that’s not how the world works anymore
