Hi Andrew, I am Australian and my husband and I have been watching your channel for months now. You are one of only 3 channels that I subscribe to. We are in our 60s, truck drivers and country not city dwellers. Thank you for your videos, the information you give and the mixture of content. Denis, hubby, face palms every time the shifting spanner comes out. I remind him that it is not so many years ago that the shifting spanner was his go to tool. I love the safety tips you put in your videos. They are a natural part of your teaching and are great for any up and comers wanting to do what you do. My husband wants me to tell you to fix your unstable muffler pipes on your tractors. I have told him to leave the boy's muffler pipes alone. I have your videos running on KZbin on television regularly. I am fascinated that you equipment are and extension of your fingers. It is a talent that few operators achieve. Your repairs are great to watch for mechanically inept people like me and mechanical minded addicts like hubby. I am fascinated with your stump extractions, pipe laying and when you put the gullies in for water drainage. I watch those videos repeatedly. Thank you so much for them. This message was originally just to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and prosperity for 2020. I got carried away. Australians do that. Cheers

I have been totally captivated by the amazing work that Andrew has undertaken over the years. I now watch his friend Jesse as well. What a couple of amazing young men they are. I am fascinated as to how they turned out to be so motivated, skilful, creative and just willing to 'have a crack' which is a term we use in Australia. Please don't waste money on attending self help or motivational courses. We really need to study these 2 young men to find out how they became such all round capable and resilient people. I am 65 years old and fancy myself as a bit of a 'jack of all trades' but these 2 make me look really ordinary in comparison. Could you imagine what any country could achieve if we could find out the formula for turning out young people like Andrew and Jesse! There would be no stopping them. They inspire, motivate, entertain and also sometimes make me laugh out loud. Happy Christmas Andrew and Jesse and thank you for everything you give us all.

Evening Andrew, A back pack blower when you’re burning brush is a really useful tool, it can cut the burn time in half and when the brush is wet, it’ll make starting a fire easier. Getting as much oxygen to the fire as possible negates any need for accelerants as well. I’ve used one many times for this type of job and it makes the job faster by a fair amount. 👍🏻

Wow the one thing that I do on my property that I could possibly give advice to Andrew. Here is a tip for less work, use the propane torch to start the fire in 2 or 3 spots around the pile. One started, use a backpack sprayer full of diesel to fuel the fire and get it nice and hot! Sit back and relax, maybe use the chainsaw to trim so longer logs sticking out. After a certain amount of time, perhaps 30+ minutes, use the tractor or skid steer to tighten up the pile. No more messing with the pile later if you get it raging hot
@jonintc5 жыл бұрын
Brexit Monger Sure I do that when camping but creating huge burn piles with brush and logs tends to leave big holes in the pile, or some debris is wet or green. Diesel makes it way easier to get it super hot.
@jonintc5 жыл бұрын
Brexit Monger Don’t wear it, just carry it by the handle. 4 gallons * 8lb/pound is 32lbs so not that heavy for me. And I’m not spraying it nonstop, i rest it on the ground away from fire

That backhoe runs pretty damn good! With a tuneup and a little tlc, that's a good machine to use on the property.

Andrew, you need a leaf blower! Full blast to get it roaring and then just let it sit at idle blowing on the fire. Burns so much hotter/faster that way. Nice job! Leaf blower works better than anything..., cheap, easy, works.

Its funny watching you use heavy equipment vs many others I see. I follow allot of youtube channels featuring similar content, and although there are many skilled operators. I must say you maneuver these vehicles with precision and flow. Great content and superb operator skills.

IN Texas we call that torch a "Pear Burner". Originally used to burn the needles off of prickly pear cactus so it can be fed to cattle. Hey Andrew did Levi like the blanket I sent him?
